Below is information to assist through the registration process, casting a ballot and to better understand Military and Overseas Voters' rights.
Military and Overseas voters, and their dependent family members, have special voting rights under federal and state law (Uniformed & Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA)). These rights include the use of a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) to register to vote and request an early ballot and the use of a Federal Write-In Absentee Ballot (FWAB) , which serves as an emergency back-up ballot. The FPCA and FWAB can also be completed using an online assistant by clicking here.
Additionally, UOCAVA voters can register to vote, request an early ballot and upload their voted ballot through the Secretary of State's secure portal. For more information, UOCAVA voters should visit: the Secretary of State's Website or the Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP).

When Will I Get My Ballot?
Ballots are mailed out to UOCAVA voters 45 days before the election.
What If My Mailing Address Changed?
All voters, especially UOCAVA voters, should update their voter registration anytime they have a change. UOCAVA voters should contact their County Recorder as soon as possible with any mailing changes. Additionally, UOCAVA voters can designate an email address for the County to contact them at. How Can I Return My Voted Ballot?
UOCAVA voters can return their official ballot or FWAB by fax or through a secure ballot upload system maintained by the Secretary of State. Ballots must be received by 7pm on Election Day. Click here for more information.

The Clean Elections Commission mails a Voter Education Guide to every Arizona UOCAVA voter, all across the world, utilizing their mailing address on file with the County Recorder. The Guide provides information on statewide and legislative candidates and general voting information.
