Ken Bennett
State Senator - District 1
Republican
The best way to predict future performance is: past performance. When the citizens of LD-1 asked me to be their State Senator in 1998, I fought for them using the conservative Constitutional principles they deserve. We balanced the state budget eight years in a row – even during the post-9/11 recession. We passed the largest tax cut in the history of the state, while putting more new money into education and public safety than ever before. We spent less than the tax revenues we received and rebuilt the state’s savings account – the Rainy Day Fund - to over 1 Billion dollars. We expanded parental choice for their children’s schools, and protected the sanctity of life and our 2nd Amendment rights. Today, Arizona faces significant challenges again. Our State retirement systems are under-funded by more than 20 Billion dollars! The federal government is failing to secure our border with Mexico. Too many students are failing academically, and too many people question the integrity of our elections. I promise to fight for you again to solve these and other problems as your Senator. I humbly ask for your vote as we work together to make Arizona great again!

I am running for AZ Senate LD 1 with the Clean Slate for Democracy to take corruption out of politics. I want to strengthen traditional public schools and voter rights, the bedrock institutions of our democratic republic. The three-decade defunding of Arizona’s public schools, which has placed us last in the US, must be reversed to achieve the following: ? A comprehensive solution for P-20 education, including increasing access and affordability of PreK and higher education. ? More resources going to schools to serve the students most in need (poverty/opportunity weight). ? Funding that solves our next fiscal challenges when federal COVID relief funds dry up in 2024 or the Prop 123 triggers activate. ? A long-term fix for the Aggregate Expenditure Limit. ? A significant investment in special education. ? Funding for full day kindergarten ? Raising teacher pay to a competitive level. Efforts to place election outcomes in the hands of partisan groups must be stopped. Let’s empower voters so voting is easy and secure. We need to retain early voting. To create an economy that works for all of us, Arizona needs a fair tax structure to prevent structural deficits and balance the tax burden equitably.

I am NOT the Establishment’s candidate, nor am I a career politician, but I am a retired successful businessman. Extensive experience in a variety of fields helps me understand how to solve complex problems. I also know the law, and how it applies to a wide variety of intricate issues. I will fight for the people of Arizona! As a Constitutional Conservative, Patriot, and Veteran, I am a strong Second Amendment advocate, who will diligently work for laws that provide Free and Fair Elections, strong borders to protect our citizens, and Life for the unborn. We must expand the Parents Choice of where and how our children are educated, and the money must follow the child! We need to return to the Traditional American Values that made our country the greatest nation in the world. I will work for less regulation, lower taxes, and restoring accountability of our elected officials to the people. As an America First candidate, I believe in the sovereignty of Arizona, and I will remain true to conservative values in my service to the people of Arizona. Help elect me, by going to VoteZipperman.com! I respectfully ask for your vote; Steve Zipperman, AZ State Senate (LD-1)!

I am running out of desire to have Arizona reach its full potential. As a life-long conservative Republican my priorities are protecting and defending the Constitution, promoting a strong border and election integrity, reducing the tax burden and government overregulation, maintaining fiscal responsibility and economic opportunity, upholding the right to bear arms, defending life, supporting our troops and families, and the protection of state rights. I am highly engaged with our community and volunteer for several political and civic organizations including the Yavapai County Republican Party, the State and National Federation of Republican Women, the Arizona State Rifle and Pistol Association, the Well-Armed Woman, and the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue. Having lived in this District since 1971, I have a deep respect for our rich history and am dedicated to protecting and strengthening Arizona. After working as a nurse in this community for while teaching nursing at Yavapai College, I am accustomed to making a difference in the lives of others. I come from a long line of public servants in my family and am called to serve the community in which I was raised. I appreciate your support to keep Arizona great.

Judy Burges
State Representative - District 1

In 2020, you elected me to serve as your State Representative. Consistent conservatives like me helped propel Arizona to #1 in the nation for Second Amendment rights and #4 for school choice. Putting Arizona and America First means NO to special interests, confronting illegal immigration, increasing security for elections, cutting taxes while keeping our economy strong. You can rely on me to keep liberals from increasing taxes and taking our freedoms. My proven conservative record makes me a target for liberal challengers who disagree with our shared values. They may campaign as conservatives but have a bad record or no record at all. I was awarded Champion of the Taxpayer, Friend of the Family and Small Business, the Lincoln Award from the Republican Assembly, and the Liberty Award from the Republican Party. Constituents know I am the “real deal” standing in the gap between an overreaching government and fighting for their freedoms and security. Our economy needs strengthening, Critical Race Theory needs to be destroyed, we need to expand school choice, support our police, secure our borders and elections, and prioritize water and forest health. I humbly ask for your vote so I may continue to fight the good fight!

Having been born and raised in Northern Arizona, I would be honored to represent the great people of Legislative District 1. After serving 5 years in the United States Navy, my wife and I returned home to the Verde Valley and started our family. Upon seeing the worsening state of our educational system and the lack of election and border security, I felt that if I wanted to see meaningful change in Arizona, I had to be willing to run for office and help make that change myself. For far too long rural Arizonans have been cast aside. When elected, I will work tirelessly to make sure the people of Legislative District 1 are heard once again. Together we will fight to preserve the core values this great state was built on and keep Northern Arizona one of the best places in the nation to live and raise a family. In this August’s primary election vote Ryan Cadigan for State Representative of Legislative District 1.

In 2020, I ran for office as an America First Constitutional Conservative. You elected me, I went to work, and I KEPT MY WORD! I have championed strong election integrity measures, secure borders (including a real wall!), low taxes, safe neighborhoods, improved highways and transportation (repairing SR-69 and expanding I-17), and personal liberty. I’ve introduced pro-gun bills, voted pro-Constitution, pro-life, pro-school choice, and pro-Arizona. And I helped pass the largest tax cut in Arizona history. So why is a solid, conservative Republican facing a primary challenge? Because I’ve voted NO on bad bills when the Arizona establishment wanted me to vote yes. I’ve fought against government overreach and tried to restore your personal health care and religious freedoms when the “powers that be” wanted to continue mandating how we lived our lives and what medicines we had to take. I’ve been called one of Arizona’s most consistent and thoughtful conservatives because I love my country, my state, and everyone who calls it home. If you want a proven America First patriot, then I ask for one of your two votes on August 2nd. On behalf of my wonderful wife and children, THANK YOU!

I am Cathy Ransom, an Arizona mom who knows our economy has not been working as hard for moms as moms work for our economy. As the business manager of a small business in the Verde Valley, I have witnessed how decades of one-party domination in the state legislature have failed rural Arizona. Water, Education, and Healthcare have all been neglected. That needs to change. Our economy is not working for essential workers, teachers, frontline workers and small business owners. Teachers and Nurses are leaving the state because they can’t afford to live here. I want the legislature to level the playing field and ensure we adequately invest in an equitable future for all of us. The Arizona legislature can help prepare the next generation for 21st century jobs by investing in our human infrastructure. Companies considering relocating to Arizona want an educated workforce and a solid healthcare system. It’s time for a new vision for Arizona’s future at the state capitol. As part of the Clean Slate for Democracy I will hold education, the environment and an economy that works for all of us as top priorities. Learn more at CleanSlateAZLD1.com

I am a husband, father, grandfather, and a solar energy entrepreneur. As the board chairman of Cybertran International I am focused on developing a zero carbon footprint mass transit system powered by the sun. Environmental crises, made worse by climate change, are part of a larger pattern that threatens our way of life. Arizona can play an important role in providing a solution to the challenges of climate change. To do this we need better legislative priorities and lawmakers who nurture innovation and support Arizona’s transition to clean energy. Developing sustainable clean energy technologies here in Arizona helps us attract new businesses. We can and should be leading the world in solar energy innovation. To attract innovators for high growth businesses, Arizona needs a modern, high-caliber public education system anchoring intelligent, motivated, creative individuals and their families. To seize this opportunity we need to properly fund public education. This is why funding education and addressing climate change will be my top legislative priorities and why I am running as a clean election candidate as part of the Clean Slate for Democracy to build a better future for all Arizonans. I am a parent, educator, and former school board president. As a middle school and high school teacher, I have seen firsthand how policies at the state level have created a two-tier education system that hurts entire communities. I first ran for my local school board ten years ago because I realized that if I wanted to truly make a difference in my students' lives, I needed to get involved in policy and governance. I believe that every child deserves access to an excellent public education, and that their families should have access to fair wages, clean air, and affordable housing. For too long, elected leadership in Arizona has ignored the needs of working class families, and has increasingly promoted extremist policies designed to game the system for a select few. Arizona deserves elected leaders who will fight for the needs of everyday people and promote the common good.

I’m running for Arizona State Senate because our district needs consistent conservative leadership that always stands up for our values and protects our way of life. Since I took an oath to our Constitution – first as a Civil Affairs Captain in the U.S. Army and then as a Representative in the Arizona State House – I’ve been dedicated to public service. After returning in 2008 from my deployment in Afghanistan, I started a small business and began to raise a family. I realized the importance of protecting Arizona’s future. Arizona has a long history of being a state of boundless opportunity and limitless prosperity. But since the Biden Administration took office, things started to change. The humanitarian crisis at our border threatens the safety of our communities. Runaway inflation is leading to higher costs of living, and housing affordability is rare. We’re paying more taxes for poorer quality education. And we’re not confident in the integrity of our elections. We’re losing the state we know and love, now is the time to step up and save Arizona before it’s too late. That’s why I’m running for re-election to continue serving you in the State Senate.

I got involved in politics after witnessing how much President Donald J Trump included God in his political activities before he got elected, at Trump rallies, in the MAGA agenda, at the White House and while Trump implemented his policies. I voted for Trump twice, once in 2016 and 2020. I saw how the media attacked Trump in 2015, and God touched my heart leading me into politics. I began to study hundreds of US Supreme court cases, learned that our country has been taken from the People who are the citizens and I got involved by attending the 2018 annual meetings of the Arizona Republican Party and Maricopa County Republicans. When elected, I will fight to ban dominion voting systems, ban duplicate ballots, require in-person verification for failed ballot signatures, allow Arizona citizens to take video/photos of any election worker, require body cams on all election workers and fight for Voter ID laws. I will protect our 1st amendment, our 2nd amendment, secure our southern border by finishing the wall, fight for Parental rights, protect unborn babies by being 100% pro-life and fight for American Jobs by putting American workers first!

I’ve spent my life in LD20 as the mom of two sons, a teacher for 27 years at Cactus and Greenway High Schools, and a community leader. I know and share the priorities of our district. This is my home. As a teacher, co-founder of Theater Works, church board member, community center director, and leader of a non-partisan group with demonstrated impact, I’ve learned powerful lessons about how listening and working together gives everyone a chance to succeed. I was deeply honored to be elected as your representative to the State House in 2020, where I've continued to listen and work together to address the issues that are important to you and your family. In my first two years, I helped direct federal dollars to preschool programs for at-risk children and families, and sponsored a bi-partisan adult education bill to allow Arizonans to lift themselves out of poverty, provide employers with an educated workforce, and help all of us to thrive. I share your priorities including investing in our public schools, creating good-paying jobs, addressing our housing, water and healthcare crises, and protecting our freedom to vote. I will always put people first, not politics.

I am a conservative Republican for now and for always. What we need in our state legislature are conservative Republicans. Government mandates and lockdowns were horrific for our community. For the past two years, Arizonans have struggled to recover from the deep economic, educational, and social consequences of a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic. As a husband, father, and small business owner, I understand firsthand the challenges our district faces. Conservatism – low taxes, law and order, and a strong southern border – works. Unelected bureaucrats – power-hungry politicians that sacrifice our freedom, free will, and free markets to expand government – don’t. Woke ideology is teaching our children to hate America and our founding principles. Our border is wide open to drugs, violent crime, and human trafficking, threatening the safety of our neighborhoods. And you’re being forced to choose between your career and medical freedom. That’s why I’m running to serve you in the Arizona State House. Our country is at a turning point. It’s become increasingly clear that if we don’t do something now, it’ll soon be too late. It’s time for a change, and I’m ready to step up and fight for you. Let’s empower the next generation and Arizona’s future.

I have had the honor of serving in the Arizona House of Representatives for the past two years. I've spent that time fighting against overreaching COVID mandates and supporting election integrity reforms. In 2021, I had more bills signed into law than any other first-year freshman in modern state history. I'm very proud I can be an effective Legislator for our district and I understand how to get the job done. During my first term, I was the Vice Chairman of the Transportation Committee. Also, I was a member of the Commerce Committee and Health Committee. Those topics are all fascinating to me and you'd be surprised what comes our way in those committees. I've spent my entire career in public policy. I've worked a combined 12 years at two different state legislatures, including here in Arizona, where I was a policy staffer for the Republican Caucus. I also worked at Americans for Prosperity, a Conservative entity focused on lowering taxes, regulations and shrinking government wherever possible. I'm running again to ensure our great state continues to be friendly for free markets and individual liberties! I look forward to earning your support.

Jan stands for smart and small government: Strong Borders – Jan will fight to keep crime out of our neighborhoods, appropriate funding to finish a border wall, get drugs out of the hands of vulnerable Arizonans, and increase funding for our law enforcement to uphold the rule of law. Jobs and Economy – Jan will work to keep taxes low, cut burdensome regulation, and protect our small businesses from government interference and unconstitutional mandates. She will fight for you and your livelihood. Education – As a public school mom, Jan knows we need to provide families access to high-quality education options that best fit their needs, prepares kids for the future, and doesn’t indoctrinate. She will be a fierce advocate for parents, demand transparency, and ensure every dollar is accounted for. Healthcare – Obamacare destroyed our healthcare system and out-of-pocket costs have skyrocketed. Jan will reduce healthcare costs by expanding access to more affordable options and demanding pricing transparency from insurance providers.

Tom will bring a level of expertise that is severely lacking in the senate. They currently have no one who fully understands finance or information technology. They waste millions of taxpayer money due to a lack of knowledge. They waste money on bills that are political grandstanding. Taxes should be spent on core issues - water, schools, and infrastructure. The senate leadership ignores in the will of the people, proven by proposition 208 which was passed by voters. They sued rather than see the rich pay their fair share. Currently, they are debating what to do with over 5 billion in surplus and how to use it for more tax cuts for the rich while, for example, the state’s necessary water supply diminishes.

I have been promoting conservative principles for over half of a century. I was active in high school and college with the Young Republicans and Young Americans for Freedom. As a police officer, I was elected to my town council in Lafayette, N.J. After retiring from the police, I moved to Fountain Hills, where I served on its town council for six years. And I have been an Arizona citizen-legislator in the House and Senate for the past sixteen years, while teaching college full-time. I have a "Lifetime A Rating" from the Arizona Conservative Union, a "Lifetime A+ Rating" from the National Rifle Association, a 100% voting record for supporting pro-life, pro-family and school choice laws from the Center for Arizona Policy and I am the only legislator to have twice been named "Legislator of the Year" by the Humane Society for my humane animal welfare bills. I have been a legislative leader in the fight against illegal immigration, election fraud, critical race theory, the LGBTQ+?!#&*@ indoctrination of our children and attacks by the left against our police. I'm endorsed by Senator Nancy Barto. I have the knowledge, experience and ability to represent you and I ask for your vote.

Arizona is my home. It’s the place my wife and I raised our five children, and it’s the community that I have faithfully served. After 31 years as a law enforcement officer, I am dedicated to continuing my public service as an Arizona State Representative for LD3. Having lived in Scottsdale for 37 years, I have witnessed firsthand how the policies and ideas of political leaders have shaped our community. I believe that both sides must work together in order for everyone to live up to their full potential. My current focus is on growing our businesses, enhancing our education system, ensuring affordable healthcare, and fixing our state’s infrastructure. Considering my experience as a lieutenant with the Scottsdale Police Department, I fully understand the importance of supporting public safety and ensuring the security of our borders. In addition, I plan to forego campaign contributions and public monies for this election. You deserve to have trust in those that work for you at the state capitol. I am committed to representing the wonderful people of Arizona and would greatly appreciate your vote. Thank you!

Do you know what the Arizona Legislature needs more of? Real outsiders. Moms and dads. MAGA conservatives who won’t play games or play it safe. That’s why I’m running! I’m the only Mom in the race, the only candidate who hasn’t been running for years, and the only outsider who loudly/proudly supports real election integrity (secure ballots/counts), border security, school choice, religious liberty, the right to life, our 2nd Amendment rights, the freedom to control our own healthcare free from government mandates and edicts, eliminating the state income tax, and an end to radical left-wing ideas like cancel culture, critical race theory (CRT), and letting biological men compete against our daughters and granddaughters in sports. The media will call me names, the special interests will spend a lot of money to beat me, but I say “Bring it on!” Thanks to great friends and supporters, we’re in this to win it. Please visit my website and, if you’re tired of politicians, and you want an outsider and conservative MAGA Mom fighting for you at the Legislature, then I ask for your vote! As a lawyer, I’ve spent years working to advance conservative causes in the courtroom. I’ve taken Adrian Fontes to the Supreme Court and won, represented President Trump’s full slate of Arizona Electors, and fought for medical freedom. I’ve never backed down from fighting for what is right despite threats to my career, my staff, and my family’s safety. I never will. As your representative, I will take conservatives on the offense by writing the sorts of laws that I would be proud to defend and that you would be proud to have defended. Laws that increase the security of our elections by restoring precinct voting and preserve our fundamental Second Amendment rights. Laws that make use of Arizona’s authority under the Tenth Amendment to secure our border, defend our children in the womb, and give parents choices about the way that our children are educated in the classroom. Our district deserves a representative with the knowledge and training to make our entire conservative delegation more effective. Who can help other members give conservative laws teeth and make them harder to attack in court? I therefore humbly ask for your support and your vote. www.alexforaz.com.

As your Senator, protecting our individual freedoms is my number one goal. Keeping our government limited and accountable is key to our thriving economy. District 4 needs support for our law enforcement and a strengthened southern border which protects our citizens, support for parents’ rights, education that works for every student, and protection of every innocent life. I am your tireless advocate. I listen, I solve problems, and will never compromise our values. I have made it my job to look out for the vulnerable. All too often, the needs of the weakest are ignored because they aren’t tied to lucrative special interest contracts and powerbrokers in government. These are the voices I have sought to bring with me into the Senate. Who are these voices? Foster children who lack representation and go missing with no one invested in their recovery; the seriously mentally ill who slip through the cracks of our broken system, ending up incarcerated instead. This is an important moment for our district and state. If re-elected to the Senate, fighting for you and our precious freedoms will continue to be my aim. I thank you for your support, and I ask for your vote.

While my experiences as a mother, teacher, and foster mother helped me decide to run for the State Senate, what truly motivates me is the need for more balance at the Capitol. After being elected to my first term in the State Senate in 2020, I knew my job was to represent all of my constituents, regardless of their views or their background. I went straight to work on the issues that matter: curbing the impact of our state’s drug crisis, bringing together parents and schools to make sure that our kids have access to a quality public education, and securing the right to vote. Our state faces many challenges, and one-party rule has stifled Arizona for decades, with our most vulnerable populations being placed at the most risk. Our district needs to elect a Senator who will listen to all her constituents and make sure that all good ideas get heard. That way, we can work together to solve the many challenges we face.

My name is John Arnold and I’m running for the State House in Legislative District 4 because Arizona is a special place and I believe we need leaders who will preserve our conservative values. I’m a small business owner, lifelong Republican, husband, and father to four children who I hope will call Arizona home for years to come. Furthermore, I’m a political outsider who will bring a new voice and fresh perspective to the State Capitol. I’ve lived in Arizona for 26 years, graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in finance, and received my MBA from the University of Phoenix. I’ve been a financial advisor in Scottsdale since 1999, helping our clients create wealth and save for retirement. I understand the best manager of your money is you and I believe in a limited government model of lower taxes and less regulation. I am a proud member of the NRA, the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Scottsdale Charros. We, as a state, have significant challenges. As your representative, I’ll work to secure our border, fight inflation, protect our water future, restore trust with parents and school boards, preserve our open spaces, and stand with law enforcement.

My plan would impose fines and restitution on non-violent fiscal offenders and reserve prison time for violent offenders. I represent conservative thought on various issues, such as; I do not want to defund the police nor do I want male athletes to compete in female sports. Lets secure our borders. Vera Gebran is running for State House in District 4 because she’s invested in rescuing this country for her children’s generation. For far too long, America has been declining. Our social institutions are being poisoned by ideology, our elections are becoming less secure, and illegal immigration has yet to be solved. Vera also believes it’s past due to push back against an overreaching government and Big Tech trying to micromanage our lives. Vera is running for the State House because now is a critical fork in the road for Arizona–we either maintain Arizona history as a state of opportunity or we allow radical ideologies to squander the American dream away. As immigrants from Lebanon, Vera’s parents arrived with little more than a strong work ethic. With hard work and the American opportunity, they built a beautiful life for themselves and their children. Because of this, Vera is incredibly passionate about the United States and freedom. It’s her desire to protect taxpayers, restore our Constitutional rights, and improve our K-12 schools and universities. Vera is a woman of the people, not of politicians.

From 2017 to 2021, Matt served as a Governing Board Member in the Madison Elementary School District. While on the board, Matt fought to keep schools open during COVID-19, supported increased school choice and advocated for parents and taxpayers to have a seat at the table in curriculum, hiring decisions and budgeting. When I last served as your State Representative, I established a strong conservative record fighting for border security, supporting our police, expanding school choice, protecting life and religious freedom, lowering taxes and prescription drug costs, and preserving our Second Amendment. My record leaves no doubt where I stand on these issues and I am ready to step up and do it again to protect the Arizona freedoms and values currently under attack. The radical Left is undermining every American institution which makes Arizona a safe, free, and prosperous state. Out of touch career politicians and bureaucrats are just making it worse. Covid showed us how dysfunctional and ideological our schools are, how fragile our livelihoods are, and how controlling our government is. As a former Assistant United States Attorney and Assistant Attorney General, I know firsthand that when narcotics and cartel trafficking is flooding through our border, funding the police must be our highest priority. As a current Scottsdale public school mom, I also know it’s time to put parents first and stop the radical indoctrination in our schools. I am running for State House to fight for a better Arizona and I would be honored to have your vote.

During my time in the classroom, I saw just how underfunded our state’s public schools are when a ceiling collapsed over a rug full of my kindergarten students while I was teaching. Now, I work to help Arizonans make their voices heard at the state legislature through my work with Civic Engagement Beyond Voting. I am ready to continue the work of listening to my constituents as District 4’s State Representative. My vision is an Arizona where every child in our state can access a quality public education regardless of zip code, all voters have the freedom to vote and participate in our democracy, and families don’t have to choose between paying healthcare costs and avoiding bankruptcy. Our state is so divided right now. I know we can bridge divides and build community by bringing everyone into our governing process and giving all good ideas the fair hearing at the legislature they deserve.

For the past eleven years I have represented LD 24 in the Arizona Legislature, eight years in the House and currently in my fourth year in the Senate. It would be my honor to continue to serve as the Arizona State Senator for LD 5. Throughout my career as a lawmaker, I have championed our public schools and universities, advocated on behalf of our most vulnerable communities, and worked to find common ground with my colleagues and pragmatic solutions to the challenges confronting our state. Accessible and affordable public education that prepares Arizona's young people for 21st Century careers, improving the lives of children and families, working in support of housing for the homeless and low-income families, and defending the civil rights of all of Arizona's citizens will continue to be my priorities, should I be re-elected to represent LD 5 in the Arizona State Senate. A native Arizonan and the proud product of our public school system, from kindergarten to graduate school, I believe in the potential of our young people and Arizona, which is why I will continue working for the people of our great state as your LD 5 State Senator.

I am pursuing the office of Arizona State Senator for Arizona Legislative District 5; I want to share my knowledge to solve problems with fellow residents of Arizona and District 5. I’m a native Phoenician, educated in Phoenix public schools and graduated from Maryvale High School. I have a Masters degree in Management Science with an emphasis in Health Service Administration. I’m a former United States Army officer and service-disabled veteran. The National Education Association’s Estimates of School Statistics for year 2021 states that for the period 2019-2020, the salary of Arizona instructors rank number 48 of 51. These failing performance metrics deter businesses from relocating to our state. If Arizona wants to attract businesses to relocate to Arizona, we need to provide a more educated workforce with educational systems in place for their families. Relying largely on the steady climate has its limitations. I believe I can be most effective in the Arizona State Senate. I have a strong voice regarding the need to have an educated workforce to attract more higher paying employers to the State. Issues exist – I will fight to solve with innovative ideas.

History does not need to repeat itself, in order for us to learn and move forward. As your next State Senator, I will bring a fresh perspective to our state legislature, I will boldly represent the Millennial generation and provide hope to the next! I'm running for State Senate because it's time to be the change my state needs, it's time for Tyree!

Jen is fighting for you. Since first elected as state representative for Arizona LD24 in November 2018, Jen has worked tirelessly to build a stronger, healthier community and improve the lives of all people in our community. In her first term as representative, Jen became the first Democrat appointed to chair a House Ad Hoc committee in more than 50 years, when she was appointed chair of the Ad Hoc Committee on Abuse and Neglect of Vulnerable Adults. Jen was reelected in 2020 and also elected by her peers to serve as Assistant Leader. Under the current leadership, more Democratic-sponsored bills were passed than in the prior six years combined. If re-elected, Jen will continue fighting to protect public education for all our children; demand equity for all our neighbors; build an economy that works for all in our community; create an environment that is safe – from injustice, from gun violence, from lack of access to quality health care, including body and reproductive autonomy – for all, and protect our democracy, including our most basic right to vote.

Hi, my name is Amish, and I'm proud to serve as your current elected State Representative. As I near the end of my second term, I am appreciative to all of you for your continued consideration and support. The last two years were stressful for our state and our nation, and I hope that we bring out the "better angels of our nature" in each of us as President Lincoln once said. Let's support and uplift each other as we face daunting societal challenges such as rising housing costs and homelessness, underfunded public education, and inaccessible or unaffordable health care. Meanwhile, we as your elected officials must work as hard as we can to deliver results for you on these fronts. I continue to push for a culture of hard work, civility, responsiveness, and a drive for excellence in our government. Amish Shah, MD, MPH

I am Dine’ (Navajo); Tangle People Clan and born for the Deer Water Clan. As a child, I attended a U.S. Federal Bureau of Indian Affairs Boarding School in Tolani Lake, Arizona, 70 miles northeast of Flagstaff, Arizona. I am a boarding school survivor. In 1965, after marrying my husband, James Peshlakai, an accomplished silver and goldsmith, I took up silversmithing and, to this day, make jewelry every day, as well as weave. I know the issues and challenges of District 7 and work tirelessly for the communities of rural and tribal Northern Arizona. I know we need our voices heard and made more effective every day. As a Precinct and State Committee Member of the Arizona Democratic Party, I have worked or volunteered on the majority of tribal, county, state and federal elections since 1974. I have traveled all of Arizona’s Legislative District 7 ( new LD6) to register voters, collect signatures for candidate petitions, referendums, and educate constituents on the US census and the 2021 Redistricting of Arizona. I am committed to be the voice of the people of rural and tribal Arizona.

I serve as a Planning and Zoning Member for the Tó Nanees Dizí Local Government. In my many years of work, I took notice of the obstacles that Rural Arizonans face when trying to cast their ballots, registering to vote or even applying for a state identification card. Having worked at the State Senate, I know the work it will take to defend our voting rights, reproductive choice for women, and water rights for our communities. Legislators need to make sure that public school districts have the funding so that they are able to hire qualified educators to meet the needs of our students, better pay for teachers and more support staff and counselors. In 2018, as the organizer for NextGen America in Flagstaff, Kyle registered over 2,500 young people and contributed to an increase in voter turnout in the 2018 election of 300% on NAU's campus. After graduating, Kyle took a job with a Congressional campaign where he met with and listened to the concerns of thousands of Arizona voters. Kyle's passion is in working with young people and increasing their political power. Arizona has seen drastic cuts to public education funding, and Kyle has seen the suffering of students, their families, faculty, and staff as a result. Kyle wants to see our public schools funded by 100% public funds. Kyle wants to see a thriving Arizona with jobs that have benefits (paid sick leave, parental leave, retirement savings, etc.). Most importantly, Kyle wants to see a State Legislature that works for ALL Arizonians, not just wealthy donors. During this campaign, Kyle's goal is to register and engage new voters in the district. By running as a Clean Elections candidate Kyle can focus on talking to voters instead of fundraising.

Wendy Rogers

I am endorsed by President Trump and am fighting to protect our God-given rights, our borders, and the state of Arizona from socialists and liberals. My platform is to 1) Protect our guns 2) Protect life 3) Ban sanctuary cities 4) Protect our border 5) Take care of our military veterans and 6) Defend Election Integrity. I can't fight this fight alone and need your help. Will you stand with me and send me back to the Arizona State Senate to be an unabashed America First conservative? As a 20-year retired career Air Force pilot, I know what it's like to fight. I do not owe lobbyists or special interests ANYTHING. I only work for you. I'm Wendy Rogers, and I ask for your vote.

Kelly Townsend
State Senator - District 7

When President Trump encouraged me to run for Congress I agreed, because I know we need conservatives at every level of government to beat the left and save our state and country. When Wendy Rogers publicly embraced a racist anti-Semite, endorsed white nationalism, then threatened to personally destroy any Republicans who held her accountable, I knew I needed to stay and drain our Arizona swamp first. I’m a Veteran, and I’m everything Wendy claims to be: A MAGA conservative with an actual record of writing and passing election integrity bills to secure our elections, a long record of votes for record tax cuts, pro-life policies, efforts to secure our borders, eliminate taxpayer funded benefits for illegals, and more. And I voted to drain the DC Swamp by voting FOR Term Limits for Congress, while Wendy voted NO. Rogers raises millions of dollars by talking about doing things. I get things done, and I do it without endorsing racists, embarrassing our party, our cause, or our state. You have two choices who campaign on the same issues. The difference is she promises to fight, while I actually win. I hope results matter to you and ask for your vote.

Everyone campaigns as a conservative, well my RECORD is 100% pro-Taxpayer, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-Life, and pro-Constitution. I led the charge to pay down our state’s debts and did so while passing the largest tax cut in state history. I’ve championed election integrity measures to secure our ballot boxes and ballots. I’ve pushed to secure our borders and enforce our laws. And I’m bringing transportation dollars into our district to improve our roads and highways. As a Rancher myself, I’m also the Legislature’s “Go To Guy” for issues related to rural Arizona, water, agriculture, ranching, and more. Too many legislators have never been to Apache Junction, or can’t find Payson, Globe, Florence, Williams, Heber, Show Low, Snowflake or Pinetop-Lakeside on a map, but these are my towns and people. Fighting for what’s right makes me the target of lies and attacks, but I won’t be bullied. I supported President Trump’s fight against the DC swamp and I’ll keep fighting the AZ swamp. Our State Capitol needs fewer politicians and more of us regular folks who do the jobs that make Arizona work. On behalf of my awesome wife Diana and our amazing kids, thanks for your support and trust!

THIS IS ME, NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT BUT NEVER WITH HURT OR HATE IN MY HEART. Rated 100% conservative by the Arizona Free enterprise and a 96% American Conservative Union (CPAC) rating. I received prestigious 2019 “Family Champion Award” from the Center for Arizona policy because of my pro-life, pro-family stance as well an award from the Arizona Patrolman’s Association for my staunch police support. I will always support securing our borders and amnesty should never be the answer. We need to secure Arizona’s border NOW! Our teachers have NO accountability for the failing AZ Merit/AIMS test scores and some have pushed sexualization and woke indoctrination rather than reading, writing, and critical thinking, to kids and kids are promoted NOT having to know the grade standards. THIS IS WRONG! Our colleges are bankrupting our kids, many whom should not be forced to go as college is not for all kids. I have a plan to fix this. Arizona must work smarter/closer with the local rural communities to promote growth, a good workforce, a real education and create more opportunity. I am asking for your vote to be your voice for more responsible Government. Thanks, please give me a vote.

For ten years as your public servant elected to the Arizona Legislature, I have fought to restore integrity and accountability in government. Having grown up in poverty with a single mother, I know that individual success coincides with a shared investment in education, infrastructure, health, economic stability, housing, and safety. Now as a new father, I see firsthand how important it is that we end the political and economic inequalities that punish many Arizonans by denying opportunities to better the future of their children. I received my associate's from Phoenix College, my bachelor's from ASU, and am pursuing a Master's in Public Administration. Previously, I managed AZ Community Voice Mail, a nonprofit where I connected thousands living in poverty, transition, and homelessness to jobs, housing, information, and hope. I also served on the Tempe Community Council. I recently was a substitute teacher for Tempe and Mesa high schools and co-instructor at Phoenix College. The number one barrier to progress for all at the Capitol is the influence of big money in elections. Money shouldn’t determine how legislators vote. I am running for re-election as a part of your publicly-funded Clean Elections Team with support from voters like you.

Caden spent time working in the United States Senate where his constituent work is highlighted within the congressional record. Caden graduated from Arizona State University with his B.S. in Political Science and an emphasis in criminal justice. As your Representative, he will fight for our schools and ensure campaign promises are fulfilled; unlike they have been. On day one, Caden will move to audit the Arizona Public Education system and find out exactly how your tax dollars are being spent. He will ensure parents once again play a role in their child’s education. Caden believes it’s time we solve the homeless epidemic, strengthen our Southern Border, reduce our state income tax, enforce election integrity, and support our law enforcement. Caden is not a politician and will show up every day ready to fight for Arizonans. Caden is a New Voice, A New Vote!

Melody Hernandez

Melody Hernandez was raised in the southeast valley of Arizona to a first generation Mexican-American family. From a young age, she’s held a deep history of service in her community. She’s worked closely with students with special needs, children experiencing homelessness and domestic violence, and has provided medical aid to immigrants. Politically, she has been active in grassroots organizing, operated as a campaign manager, and served as the first Latina Democratic Chair for Legislative District 26. Hernandez was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2020. Within one year, she became the Ranking Member of Judiciary, a role in which she’s worked across the aisle to ensure a fairer criminal justice system. Hernandez has also been featured in national publications for her dedication to protecting and expanding access to healthcare during her term. The ideas that compelled Hernandez to first run have only grown more important. As a paramedic that found herself working on the frontlines of the pandemic in an overburdened healthcare system, a union member protecting working families, and now as a State Representative, she knows intimately what’s at stake for many Arizonans. She’s now seeking a second term to continue the work she began in 2020.

It is an honor to serve as your State Representative. This year, I had the joy of welcoming my first child and becoming a mom. I was born in Arizona to a first generation American family from Mexico, Germany and Palestine. This inspired a lifetime of defending our most vulnerable. Prior to being elected, I worked on higher education accessibility, healthcare affordability, gender and LGBTQ equity, protecting our freedom to vote, blocking corporate greed as a union leader, growing membership for a nonprofit empowering girls, and building support for early childhood development. Last year, I passed a law guaranteeing feminine hygiene products to incarcerated women and ending the shackling of pregnant people. I've received Tempe's MLK Diversity Award, Phoenix New Times' Best Politician and Arizona Republic's Top 10 Newsmakers to Watch. I graduated with honors from ASU with degrees in Economics and Political Science. I served as the House Democratic Whip, am the Ranking Member on Elections/Government and serve on the Education Committee. At the Capitol, I’ve seen our democracy attacked by politicians fueled by dirty money. I am running for re-election as a part of your publicly-funded Clean Elections Team through direct support from voters like you.

Eva believes that every Arizonan should have access to affordable, high-quality healthcare regardless of income or insurance status. Eva wants to create an Arizona where safe and affordable housing is accessible to everyone. Where first time home buyers have realistic opportunities and resources to get into homes. Finally, nothing could be more fundamental to our democracy than the right to vote, and Eva promises to work diligently in the senate to restore that right and make sure that every Arizonan has equal access to their voting power. As a retired Mesa Police Sergeant who has served and protected our community for 27 years, you can be confident I will continue fighting to protect our freedoms. I will defend Life, our 1st and 2nd Amendments, and School Choice. I will advocate for secure borders, supporting Veterans, Police and Firefighters, strengthening our economy, and election integrity. I am proud to be a God-loving, America-first conservative who believes in HARD WORK, personal responsibility, limited government, and lower taxes. My wife, Heather, and I have been married for 22 years and we want to raise our two daughters in a safe and free Arizona. My opponent recently tried to convince me that the platform of the Republican Party is to protect business’ rights above the rights of individuals. I believe the rights of individuals are sacred. For 4 years we’ve watched my opponent vote against pro-life bills to protect healthcare lobbies, vote to give your tax dollars to illegal immigrants, and this session he sponsored a bill to raise your taxes to fund a $70 Billion Maricopa County transit slush fund. WE DESERVE BETTER! Vote for ROBERT SCANTLEBURY for Arizona State Senate, a REAL conservative.

I am a 5th generation Arizonan, whose lifelong love for advocacy and leadership has been rooted in this district for a century. I am the granddaughter of farmworkers and small business owners that worked and advocated for this community. I proudly graduated from Mesa Community College ("MCC") as an honor student and student body president. As a transfer student, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a degree in U.S. and Mexican Regional Immigration Policy and Economy and obtained a certificate in Cross-Sector Leadership. I am a Student Government Advisor at my beloved alma mater, MCC. As a Mesa native, I’ve been a steadfast supporter of my community as evidenced by my volunteerism with the United Food Bank and my involvement in COVID-19 support to Indigenous nations. Arizona is in desperate need of Representatives who will serve in the best interests of the community. One who shows up and engages in constructive conversations and provides transparency. Investments in education, healthcare, and advocating to stop the displacement of our vibrant community due to rapidly rising housing costs are just some of the issues I plan on addressing head-on as your Representative.

My family moved to Arizona when I was ten years old. I went to the University of Arizona on a scholarship and ended up finishing my bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University. I worked at my father’s furniture manufacturing shop while taking business courses and went on to receive my MBA. Like so many families, our business was hit hard by the Great Recession. My family needed me to pitch in and rejoin the family business. It was a tough call but when times are rough, you do what's needed of you. I took on a leadership role in our business; that meant making some hard choices. It turns out they were the right ones, and we rebuilt our business stronger than before. It’s clear that Arizona needs real investment. Near last in the nation in education and healthcare spending; an economy lagging far behind other states... This isn't what we voted for. I’m running for office because future generations deserve the same educational opportunities I had, my neighbors deserve to feel safe in their community, and all Arizonans deserve to have their best days ahead.

My name is Mary Ann Mendoza. My son, Sgt. Brandon Mendoza was tragically killed on May 12, 2014, by an illegal criminal who was driving while intoxicated. One of the key issues facing Americans right now is an assault on our Constitutional rights, which are being systematically erased. I am 100% for parental rights in our education system, I am pro-life, I Back the Blue, I am for securing our borders; our veterans deserve taxpayer support, not illegals. We need to protect small businesses and not allow mandates and shutdowns. I am for election integrity and making sure our vote counts and is not marginalized by those illegally voting. This is no longer a partisan issue; this is standing up for Americans and for our great nation. We the People hold the power, the understanding, and the rights to make sure local, state, and federal government govern for the people and in accordance with the Constitution to preserve the rights we are guaranteed as citizens of a free nation. The only way to meet the challenges facing our communities is to get involved and act. That is exactly what I am stepping up to do for Arizona Legislative District 9.

I’m a mom, a grandma, and I’m involved in helping our returning veterans through a non-profit organization that I run. I know freedom isn’t free -- my son Brent lost both legs fighting for us in Iraq to keep America free! I’m running for State House because we need more regular citizens involved, not more lawyers or politicians. I want election integrity and ballot security so everyone can get honest, reliable election results quickly. I want school districts to focus on educating, not indoctrinating, our kids, without getting sidetracked by political agendas that have nothing to do with the Three R’s. I want to support police and fire and give them the tools they need, not have the public’s safety held hostage by radicals who want to defund and eliminate them. I want secure borders, our wall finished, and immigration laws enforced. I want balanced budgets and sensible policies to help fight inflation and high gas prices. I want a long-term plan for water issues, because as our population continues to grow, water becomes increasingly important. If you want a commonsense candidate who wants to do right, without the political games, then I ask for your vote. Thank you!

Russell W. "Rusty" Bowers
State Senator - District 10

I am Rusty Bowers and four generations of my blood have loved Arizona, and along with my wife, children and 20 grandchildren, I am upset that President Biden disregards the security of my family and has abandoned Arizona and his responsibility. I authorized legislation to push National Guard troops to the border and more going. I brought tens of millions for law enforcement and more coming to increase the prosecution of crossers who break state laws. I want the lighting and technology laying on pallets along the wall the feds left used! Large gaps? Fill them!! "We have prepared for the water shortage, and I have led in the effort to find and fund additional water for our people. We built a business climate bringing hundreds of new companies and thousands of new jobs. We gave Arizonans the biggest tax cut ever! I authorized funding to finish the I-10 southward, along with millions for new infrastructure. "I authorized 20 new laws to tighten election integrity, and more than 30 more in the pipeline to protect this fundamental right for all Arizonans. "You want things done right? I am the one!

David Farnsworth
State Senator - District 10
Republican
After I served in the State Senate I was retired, until the calls came asking me to run again. I was told that Representative Bowers was running for Senate and leadership. I have respected him for years, but his politics have shifted so far left, that I was persuaded to run, to keep a conservative in this seat. Rusty campaigns as a conservative, but he blocks important election integrity bills, soft-pedals problems like illegal immigration, and has taken the lead in pushing agendas that place our kids at risk in their schools, against their parent’s wishes, apparently, so he can appeal to a liberal media and establishment that is hostile to our founding values. With such a closely divided legislature, we cannot afford to elect Republicans who will not champion our values. I have been named Champion of the Taxpayer and my record shows I am 100% for border security, school choice, pro 2nd Amendment, pro-life and pro-family. I am a third generation Arizonan. Please vote for the team of Farnsworth, Heap and Parker. We must protect our state from those who would turn us into California! May the Lord help us restore liberty! David Christian Farnsworth

Justin Heap
State Representative - District 10
Republican
http://www.voteheap.com
I’m a first-time candidate running for the Arizona State House. I am running because I see what the left is doing to our country from Washington DC, and what they are doing in neighboring states like California, New Mexico, and Colorado, and I know Arizona can do better. Arizona is one of America’s most successful states because of our pro-growth policies and because we are protecting the principles and liberties that have made America great for so long. But our values are under attack. Not just from liberal Democrats, but from their liberal Republican allies. Today, good legislative bills are dying because Republicans are not united around core values like school choice, lower taxes, free-market solutions, protecting the unborn, and our Constitutional liberties. My family roots run very deep in this wonderful state, and I’m sure the Heap family will continue to call Arizona home for generations to come. I’m running to serve those future generations by fighting for what is right and what works today. I am requesting your support and will be honored to serve as your representative as we work to save our great state.

Barbara Parker
State Representative - District 10

My political journey began after surviving the Iranian Revolution of 1978 and witnessing how tyranny destroys a nation. I’m running as a constitutional conservative to save Arizona and our Republic from Biden’s failed policies. I am 100% Pro-Life, Pro-Constitution, Pro-2nd Amendment, Pro-Limited Government, and Pro-Religious Freedom. I am a proud Arizona native! I’ve been married 40 years and my husband and I have raised our 4 children in Mesa. I have degrees in Nursing and Clinical Psychology with certifications in Cardiovascular and Emergency Room Medicine. I’ll stop government bureaucracies from playing politics with our health, our lives, and our civil liberties in the name of pseudoscience. I’m honored to have the endorsement of proven conservatives like State Senator Warren Petersen, Cindy Biggs (wife of Congressman Andy Biggs), US Senate Candidate–Commissioner Justin Olson, and many other grassroots leaders. We MUST HAVE COURAGE and LEADERSHIP at the capitol from those who will bring experience serving the people and who are grounded in principles that work. Your priorities are my priorities: securing the border, election integrity, parental choice, and stopping radical agendas from further overtaking our government and schools. I would be humbled and honored to earn your vote on August 2nd.

It’s been said that education is a great equalizer, where common people can accomplish uncommon achievements. The goal of our education system is to create conditions where learners can contribute to our society and therefore improve a person’s quality of life. Our education process at the local, state, and federal level must be looked at as an investment in people rather than a system of liabilities. As a former school teacher, school administrator and school board member, I will lead the fight for school funding based on updated population and inflation data since 2008; to get an accurate aggregate expenditure limit amount. Until then and only then will we know the accurate amount our public school districts deserve. I support businesses. Businesses strive with well skilled and educated employees. Those future employees are sitting in our classrooms today. I will bring the business and education stakeholders together when elected to better serve our students. I will fight for families; especially ones pending eviction. There are over 65,000 families in Arizona currently in danger of being evicted. Many of these families are in my district. Having already served in the House and Senate, experience is what I will bring to you! Catherine Miranda

Janelle Wood

I consider myself an experienced leader and fighter for just, safe and supportive environments for our children and families. As a community leader, dedicated wife and mother, I have dedicated my life ensuring that our children have an opportunity to achieve their full potential, free from systems, laws and policies that stand in their way. As founder of the Black Mothers Forum, I am committed to ending the school to prison pipeline, ending police violence, and caring for the mental health of our children and families. I know a great education is fundamental to Arizona’s future. That’s why I stood up for our students on the Arizona Department of Education’s School Safety Taskforce and Equity and Inclusion Council. I am will use my experience to rebuild our education system and to ensure every child has a chance to succeed. As State Senator for District 11, I will fight to: Fully fund our schools. Restore Arizona’s economy as we recover from the pandemic. Fight to protect our right to vote. Invest in our neighborhoods by ensuring affordable homeownership, good job opportunities & infrastructure.

Naketa Ross
State Representative - District 11
Democratic
https://naketaross.com/
Child and Family Well-being As a survivor of the foster care system, Naketa understands that every family should have access to the resources they need. This means not just affordable childcare and a living wage but changing the laws that negatively impact low-income families. It is vital to provide necessary support and skills to the more than 14,000 youth in foster care in Arizona. We must ensure Arizona families have access to state and federal health care options, including abortions and gender-affirming care. Funding Public Education Arizona is ranked 49th in education funding, but adequate funding is only part of the problem. As a Governing Board member for Phoenix Union, Naketa has consistently prioritized our students’ educational, health, and safety needs and teachers and families. As a state representative, she will be able to continue this work while fighting to increase state education funding to the national average. Criminal Justice Reform Families are better together. Naketa knows criminal justice reform builds more robust and safer communities. She will fight to decriminalize substance abuse and other non-violent offenses so families and communities are strong, secure, and resilient.

We need better funding for education, more affordable housing options, high quality jobs, and sustainable water solutions. As your current House Representative and a computer systems analyst, I am a problem-solver with a successful track record. In 2021, I led a statewide team to develop and pass bipartisan solutions for Arizona’s Unemployment Insurance system. The results are better benefits for workers and lower tax rates for employers. As a former school board member, I am known for listening to parents, teachers, and students, and I speak up at the Capitol for the support our schools need in order to offer an excellent education and keep qualified educators. As a small business owner, I know first-hand that public policies must provide a supportive environment for your business to compete and grow. I push for fiscal responsibility and government integrity: our tax dollars belong in our pockets and in the programs that help our community, not in the pockets of cronies and special interests. Practical solutions are possible without raising taxes, if we work together. In the AZ Senate, I will continue listening, collaborating and leading to stop the partisan games and build on Arizona’s strengths.

I’m a life science executive and engineer, a business owner and entrepreneur, a native Arizonan and first-generation college graduate, and a new dad. I’m transitioning to public service because I’m driven by the desire to leave a better Arizona for my children’s children. My top priorities include securing a sustainable water supply, preserving great options for education, supporting business and entrepreneurship, and protecting individual liberty. I believe it is possible to uphold strong conservative values while still treating those who disagree with us as neighbors, not enemies. It will take a compassionate and unifying voice to win our district and represent it well, and I’m running to be that voice.

I am running for office because as an American that was raised in Christian conservative values and taught to love and respect our great country, I am deeply concerned by the hard left turn our country has taken. As a mom and grandmother, I understand how critical it is to protect family values and morals. They are the cornerstone of a healthy and free society. Now more than ever we need strong, effective leadership that will put Arizona first and fight against federal overreach and tyranny. I will be that leader. A strong country starts with strong states.

As a small business owner, commonsense Republican, community advocate, and CPA, I’m running to bring fiscal conservatism and sound business practices to the State Capitol. Currently, no CPAs serve in the Arizona House and my unique background will instantly make me a policy leader on taxes, state finances, paying down debt, and getting inflation under control. I want to be your CPA down at the Arizona Legislature. I’ve lived in Arizona for over 35 years and graduated from Arizona State University in 1991. My degrees are a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Master of Taxation. I’ve worked in accounting for more than 30 years, starting my own CPA firm over 18 years ago. I am running on the issues of fully funding education, helping seniors and veterans, combating climate change, and preserving Arizona’s water supply. I worked in both the Parks and Recreation and Human Services Departments primarily providing services, resources, and programs to seniors and people with disabilities. Education funding and supporting public education are my priorities. Two of my grandchildren attend schools in the Kyrene School District and one is a sophomore in the Tempe Union High School District. I am very proud of my two sister's who are K-12 educators. I will advocate for senior and home care policies and legislation demanding accountability so our aging populations can age in place with dignity. I support a woman's right to choose and am an ardent supporter of veterans, immigrants, and the LGBTQ+ community. I also believe voting should be accessible to all eligible Arizonans. Dear neighbor, My name is Ajlan Kurdoglu, but you can call me AJ. I am running to represent you in the Arizona State House. I am an immigrant, and became a citizen in 2013. I started my small business in Chandler and met the love of my life, a teacher, in this neighborhood. I achieved my American Dream here, and I’m running to help every Arizonan find their own dream, to help make each day a little bit better than the last. So much of our success comes from the community where we live, the support we have in our schools, for our small businesses, and in the places we call home. Our state should be full of opportunity for every member of our community. Opportunity to thrive, to receive an excellent education, to start a business, to find a good house in the neighborhood they call home. As a first generation American, it’s truly remarkable the opportunities I’ve had and this chance to represent my community–the community I call home. I hope you’ll join me on this journey, as we work to bring a fresh perspective, positivity and opportunity to every Arizonan.

At the end of this year I will complete eight years on the Chandler City Council, and I am currently honored to be serving a one year term as the Chandler Vice Mayor. I am also a retired Police Sergeant and during my 20 year career I was fortunate to work in many different assignments including property and violent crime investigations and the Drug Abuse Resistance Education “DARE” program. In 2007 I completed my career as a Mesa Police Sergeant and retired from my final assignment at the Center Against Family Violence. Today I am running for a seat in the Arizona State House of Representatives District 12 which is made up of Ahwatukee, and South Tempe, along with North and West Chandler. This is a diverse district with many challenges and opportunities. My constituents want the best in schools and quality public safety. They also want secure borders, responsible government spending and a robust business and job environment. I want to work toward meeting the expectations of my neighbors here in Arizona. I believe I have the experience to help make a difference. I am asking for your vote. Respectfully Terry Roe

I'm a Veteran, Scientist and Mom. As a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, I fought for our country, our freedoms, and our future and will continue that fight for all Arizonans. As a Scientist, I will make data-informed decisions to fully understand the long-term ramifications for subsequent generations. As a mother, I think a lot about the legacy we are leaving to our children. We are the stewards of their future. I see the world of opportunity for our children getting smaller: from access to education, making their own family planning and healthcare decisions, the environment they will inherit, to whether they will have a voice in their democracy. Arizonans deserve a better future. I want to expand the choices and opportunities for Arizonans. The government needs to work for us again and our state budget must reflect our collective values. “We the people” needs to mean something once more. We need to bring common sense back into government, to focus more on issues that bring us together, less on what divides us. We must meet the needs of Arizona’s working families by coming together. That’s the example we need to set for future generations!

I decided to run not DESPITE the current political climate, but BECAUSE OF IT." That's my answer to the most FAQ I hear talking to my neighbors. I will serve all of my district (and Arizona) and I will work to improve that climate. We are ALL Arizonans who love our state and our country! As a journalist and an attorney who has practiced elections law, I know we have a secure, fair and accurate elections system. I am standing up and running because my experiences and skills set will help protect democracy against disingenuous attacks. Bad bills simply to make political points have become far too prevalent. I will help bring back responsible lawmaking and governing. We need to work to make our public education system stronger, so that we can retain our good teachers and better educate our children/grandchildren. We need to responsibly plan for our water future and our climate future. We need to protect reproductive rights and women's health decisions. We need to improve our state for ALL Arizonans. I plan to work on these issues and more if you entrust me to serve Arizona as a state lawmaker. Thank you! –Paul

Cynthia "Cindy" Hans

I am running for Senate in LD13 because I have the experience to make Arizona better by improving education funding, supporting elections security and accessibility, expecting privacy in healthcare, and providing tools for safe communities. I’ve lived in AZ 29 out of the last 34 years as a public-school parent, a retired educator, and an election worker. Most of my professional career was spent in middle schools as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal. My three children are the product of AZ public schools. However, there has been an erosion in funding: I am passionate about increased education funding. We should hold charter schools to the same transparency and accountability as public schools. Upon retiring from education, my activities have been focused on supporting the foundations of democracy. I became a volunteer Deputy Registrar with the Maricopa County Elections and have worked every election since 2017. I’m active with Save Our Schools, the League of Women Voters and have worked on multiple non-partisan initiatives and referendums. Arizonans deserve privacy in their healthcare decisions, without government interference, living in safe communities with adequate funding for schools, for first responders, and for legislation that addresses gun violence.

As your legislator, I have written some of the most consequential laws on the books. They include: Reforming Arizona’s tax code into a flat tax (which was the biggest tax cut ever), increasing the state’s rainy day fund savings, balancing the budget, protecting health coverage for Arizonans with pre-existing conditions, raising teacher pay by 20% (which was the largest education investment in state history), protecting survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse, confronting the opioid epidemic, shielding seniors from financial exploitation, creating veteran-friendly college campuses, and passing responsible election integrity measures, including the Voter ID proposition that will be on this November’s ballot. That’s why I have received awards like Guardian of Small Business, Champion of the Taxpayer, Friend of the Family, Open Government Leader, and many others. There are those who want to undo all the progress we’ve made and turn us into their version of today's California. We can’t let that happen. That’s why I need your vote. Let me continue using my diverse background, which includes husband (to a registered nurse), father to two adorable little girls, professor and small business owner, with master's degrees in business and public administration, to keep delivering results for you.

These are the things that I am passionate about: 1. We need to improve our education system and properly fund our public schools. 2. We need health care reform - everyone needs health insurance including self-employed persons. 3. We need to preserve our voting rights - elections need to reflect the true will of the people. 4. It is essential that we properly care for the mentally ill to help reduce addiction issues, the incarceration of the mentally ill, and homelessness. 5. I want to help eliminate systemic racism, sexism, ageism, and LGBTQ discrimination to ensure equal treatment for all our citizens. 6. I believe in responsible gun ownership. We have the right to protect ourselves and our families. 7. I believe these ideals and goals can be accomplished in a fiscally responsible way. As your State Senator, I pledge to propose and support legislation that helps accomplish these goals and oppose legislation that does not.

Next to my faith and family, my greatest treasure is my citizenship of this great country. I am a naturalized citizen, having been adopted from Seoul, Korea at the age of five. My loving adoptive parents taught me well about this incredible country in which we live. I have a deep love and respect for the Constitution and the country for which it was created. As a Legislator, I will hold the requirements of the United States and Arizona Constitutions as my guiding principles to ensure our Arizona laws are fair, equitable, just and above all, constitutionally sound. As a Controller for a locally owned developer, I have seen the intensity and sacrifice of entrepreneurship. Our state is as successful as it is because of the ingenuity and sacrifices of those that follow their dreams, who contribute to the bedrock of opportunity that is our State of Arizona. I will work hard to preserve those opportunities, and to clear the hurdle for the next generation of job creators and opportunity givers. As a State Representative, I will work to bolster individual freedoms, protect Arizonans from an overbearing Federal and State Government, and bring more opportunities to all citizens.

I've been a resident of our great State of Arizona and east valley since 1995. We face a pivotal election. I want to be your Representative because I am convinced that the greatest threats to “by the people, for the people” are upon us now. I pledge to fight tirelessly for our communities. I will advance initiatives to improve the quality of life for the people of district 13 and Arizona. Second, I will focus on policy – not performance politics, not partisan bickering, not populism – policies to help our businesses and drive our economy forward; policies to achieve a second-to-none education system; policies to ensure we have a framework for fair elections; policies to secure and protect our border; and policies to strengthen our critical infrastructure. I am a proud father and grandfather, a former business transformation executive, and an owner of a small business for the past 12 years. I hold a BS in Business Administration with a major in Computer Information Systems from Rockhurst University and a MS in Information Management from Arizona State University. I pledge to serve our State with integrity and humility. Thank you.

After moving to Chandler in the late-90s, Arizona is the place I call "home." It’s an amazing state but the things that make it successful are under attack. Ironically, liberals fleeing high-tax, high-regulation states are moving to low-tax, low-regulation states like Arizona, but they’re bringing their liberal policies and voting habits with them. We need to make sure we don’t let this leftward push ruin everything that’s working in Arizona. I’ll work to end COVID mandates, protect school choice/parental rights, and protect borders. I’ll advocate for election integrity to have honest/fair elections and the enforcement of our laws. I’ll work for a strong economy and safe neighborhoods. And I’ll oppose efforts to raise taxes or give government greater control over our lives and daily decisions. As a servant leader for the last several decades, I am committed to you and I will work tirelessly to get the job done! I’m a mother, blessed with three great kids. I’ve worked in real estate for the last 17 years and have served in a variety of community and industry positions. I ask for your vote so I can get to work to do all I can for Arizona and our district!

This campaign is about “All-or-Nothing” when it comes to our inalienable rights. I will NOT compromise-away your freedoms as American citizens. I will stand and fight against the critical issues that are eroding the very foundation of our Constitution. I’m not a career politician, nor do I want to be. I’m a husband to my selfless wife, a father to my 3 children, and I’m standing up for the preservation of their freedoms, for future generations, and for you, because I’m deeply concerned with the continued trajectory of this country. I will not compromise in order to “cooperate” with those who don’t hesitate in diluting the value of Liberty. I’m unashamedly a follower of Jesus Christ, and strive to lead my family daily in the orthodox Christian values. Christians are commanded to love their neighbors, and to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. This is why I will work to END abortion in this State. I served my country for over seven years in the US Marine Corps, participating in two overseas deployments with the 13th MEU. My experience in service to this great Nation has only forged my deep gratitude for our God-given freedoms.

I am running for re-election to the Arizona House of Representatives as a person who cares deeply about the state. I was born and raised in Arizona; my husband and I chose to raise our daughters here. In 2016, I left the classroom to run for legislative office. During my two terms, I have served on the House Education Committee. I have supported bills that positively impact students from K-12 through university. Some of these include preschool funding, gifted funding, adult education and work-force development, and more counselors. Voting rights are of great concern to people who live in the district. When voting on these bills, it is important that they are constitutional and able to be implemented. Voting should be simple, yet secure. Finally, as desert dwellers, we must understand the importance of water. The decisions we make as legislators will impact Arizonans for decades. We must be thoughtful and include a multitude of stakeholders as we contemplate how we will allocate(and perhaps augment) water in Arizona. There is much work to be done in these areas and many others. I am committed to showing up and thoroughly doing my job in a thoughtful, contemplative manner.

Thank you for your trust, support, and opportunity to serve you. I ran for office as a small business owner and concerned citizen, promising to limit government and protect our Constitutional rights. I have kept my promises. I’m a top-ranked conservative in the Legislature and have been awarded Small Business Legislator of the Year, Hero of the Taxpayer, #1 for Constitutional Voting, Free Market Champion, Top Regulatory Reformer, Guardian of Small Business, A rating by NRA, and Friend of the Family. I passed legislation to eliminate politicians’ pensions and to shrink government. Arizona has dramatically increased K-12 funding (currently over $14,000/student), is enjoying record breaking surpluses (even after passing record tax cuts), and our economy and job numbers are national leaders. I’m proud to be running as part of the proven conservative team of Petersen, Grantham, and Hendrix, and hope you’ll elect them as well. Grantham and Hendrix face primary challenges from candidates who disagree with our conservative values. Visit www.votewarrenpetersen.com to learn more and feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you!

Natalie Dibernardo
State Representative - District 14

I am committed to the values that have made Arizona such a desirable place to live, raise families, and grow businesses. My plans to run for office in 2024 were accelerated when I realized the need to ensure logical conservative values in the legislature. The time is now to empower the voters, breakdown bureaucratic barriers, and implement real change for our state. Arizona is facing critical issues, such as water, immigration, and education that will require multilateral support to resolve. We must address our water crisis with innovative solutions and effective legislation that will ensure that Arizona’s economic interests and agricultural vitality are preserved. I'm a fiscal conservative and believe the power of the people should remain at the lowest level of government possible. There are over 550,000 small business in Arizona. Our prosperity depends on businesses that thrive, and it's vital that our legislature ensures that businesses have freedom from the excessive regulations that discourage innovation and stymies growth. This election and the decisions that will be made in this upcoming term will have significant effects on our way of life. Vote for Natalie DiBernardo and let’s get to work to create a better Arizona for generations to come.

Travis Grantham
State Representative - District 14
Republican
https://www.granthamforaz.com/
I’m a third-generation Arizona native, and I’m proud to serve as an Officer and Pilot in the Arizona Air National Guard. For the last two years, your team of Warren Petersen, Jake Hoffman and I have won awards from taxpayer and family groups because of our consistent conservative records in support of policies that protect Arizonans and make us stronger – Secure Borders, Election Integrity, Strong Schools, Low Taxes, Constitutional Liberties, and more. Now, Arizona leads the nation in economic growth, Arizona schools are national leaders in closing the achievement gap, and people are moving here from all over the country, because Arizona is doing things right. Because of redistricting, Jake Hoffman is now in another district, so we’re excited to be running with Laurin Hendrix, who served well previously, and who has been outstanding on the City Council these last two years. As usual, being conservatives means we get a primary from two liberal candidates who will no doubt run as conservatives. But we know they disagree with our records and values – that’s why they’re running against us! Keep Arizona on the RIGHT track and elect the team you can trust – Petersen, Grantham and Hendrix. Thank you.

Laurin Hendrix
State Representative - District 14
Republican
I served in the Legislature before, earned a conservative reputation, and returned to the private sector. Several years later I was asked to run for City Council because they needed a conservative they could count on, so I agreed, and have fought to protect taxpayers, support public safety, and take care of the needs of a fast-growing city. Now, I’ve agreed to return to the Legislature because a lot of really important issues are dying because of tiny, one-vote margins. Every seat matters and we need consistent conservatives. That’s why I’m running with Warren Petersen and Travis Grantham. REMEMBER, YOU GET TWO VOTES FOR STATE HOUSE! Vote Grantham and Hendrix. Please don’t elect Travis and one of our liberal opponents to cancel out his conservative vote. We need to secure our elections and our borders, we need to keep Critical Race Theory (CRT) out of our schools, we need to keep our economy on track and stop left-wing ideas like cancel culture and turning Arizona into California. Every vote matters, so please elect your conservative team of Petersen, Grantham, and Hendrix, and THANK YOU for doing your part. We won’t let you down!

Suzanne Lunt
State Representative - District 14

Teaching kindergarten has been a passion of Suzanne Lunt's for years! Politics in Arizona could be more effective if legislators would take what they learned in kindergarten and apply it to how they represent their constituents. When we were young we learned to show kindness, take turns, play fair, apologize, etc. Suzanne will advocate for civility, integrity and common sense in Arizona's political process. Being a teacher, Suzanne is interested in supporting public schools; the students, teachers, families and school districts. Arizona has a teacher shortage and Suzanne has the experience and knowledge to assist in solving this problem. Arizona has troubling issues that are critical to the sustainability and growth of our state. Jobs and the economy, water and the environment, infrastructure, violence, immigration, and voter rights are all serious issues. Suzanne will actively engage in learning, listening to our community, and looking for solutions to problems. Bipartisanship and civility are essential for success. Suzanne Lunt will ensure that Arizona continues to be a place of prosperity and opportunities for individuals and families.

Brandy’s love of school and church helped her thrive through her family’s hardships. Her dream of becoming a scientist was hard-won through scholarships, student loans, and full-time jobs while attending college full-time. Brandy believes no matter where you live, your children should have the freedom to learn and gain an education that prepares them for the future. She established a successful career as a forensic scientist where she spent her career identifying, collecting, and analyzing physical evidence. She processed crime scenes and sifted through fire debris. She dedicated herself to taking violent criminals off the street. As a scientist, Brandy relies on objectivity to discover answers and solutions. As a peace officer, she dedicated herself to keeping everyone safe. As a mom, she is a tireless advocate for our community schools. As a legislator, she will champion neighborhood schools, affordable healthcare, and economic opportunity. Brandy believes we need more data and evidence in our politics and less yelling. Brandy is uniquely positioned and qualified to represent all her constituents, no matter what’s in your wallet or which party you’re in. Brandy will reach across the aisle and focus on solving the problems that matter most to your family.

Jake Hoffman

As the 2021 National Legislator of the Year, a 100% rated constitutional conservative legislator, a champion of the family and taxpayers, an A+ defender of the Second Amendment, and fierce advocate for the freedom, opportunity, and prosperity that exists in Arizona, you can have confidence that I will always fight for you. At the Capitol I have been hard at work to secure our elections, authoring legislation to ban the private funding of elections, prohibit the mass mailing of ballots to voters who didn’t request it, and require proof of citizenship to vote. I’ve fought to protect children by prohibiting sexually explicit material from being used in our schools. I’ve stood up against the tyranny of COVID by protecting small businesses from rogue government agencies, and this year, banning any Arizona government from requiring a COVID vaccine. I’m proud to be running as a team with two incredible conservative Republicans, Jacqueline Parker and Neal Carter. I ask that you support all three of us. You get ONE vote for State Senate and TWO votes for State House. If you want a conservative team that works together to get great things done, please vote for HOFFMAN, PARKER, and CARTER for Legislature!

Neal Carter
State Representative - District 15

Serving as your representative is a position of sacred trust, a trust I take very seriously. Issues close to my heart include protecting religious liberty and the unborn, reducing taxes and spending, eliminating government waste, enhancing border security, and protecting the integrity of education through expanding parental rights and school choice. I am 100% pro-life: I voted for the heartbeat bill and for an end to chemical abortions; 100% pro-2nd Amendment: a longtime CCW permit holder myself and sporting enthusiast; 100% committed to reducing taxes; I've signed Americans for Tax Reform's pledge never to raise taxes, and 100% committed to freedom whether it be health freedom, educational freedom or economic freedom. Victories this past session include fighting against mask requirements by passing a bill in the State House banning masks at all government offices and standing up for local determination where incorporation is involved. Fighting for you means building allies with shared vision and tested principles. I'm proud to be running with Jacqueline Parker and Jake Hoffman as your conservative, constitutional voice in the legislature. No other team has the expertise, wherewithal and stamina to champion your causes better than Carter, Parker and Hoffman. Thank you for your vote.

Jacqueline Parker
State Representative - District 15

As one of the top fiscal conservatives in the legislature, I’m running for re-election to continue fighting against the democrat agenda infusing our state, our elections, and our schools. During my first term, I’ve drafted policy that has protected the unborn, pushed back against unconstitutional mandates, and helped restore our broken system of checks and balances. I’ve received 100% rankings as a constitutional conservative and champion of the family and taxpayers, as well as an A+ ranking for defending the 2nd Amendment. I’m a born and raised Arizona native, but I’ve traveled all over the country earning a B.A. in Philosophy from BYU, an M.A. in Literature from ASU, and a J.D. from USF in California. I’m fluent in Spanish having served church and medical missions in Texas, Mexico, Ecuador, and Nicaragua, so I understand better than most what is needed to secure our borders and stop illegal immigration. I’ve been working this past year with Jake Hoffman and Neal Carter in the legislature and the 3 of us are now running together as your conservative team in LD15! Arizonans deserve PROVEN conservative leadership with a demonstrated ability to deliver results and solutions. Please vote PARKER, CARTER, and HOFFMAN.

Taylor Kerby
State Senator - District 16

It has been my great privilege to serve on the Casa Grande Union High School Governing Board starting in 2020 where I have advocated for teachers and students. In this time, I have worked with talented and dedicated staff who are passionate about student success. However, our legislature has continued to not give schools the resources they need to be successful. As a father I have grown increasingly concerned for my daughters who are growing up in underfunded Casa Grande schools. Our legislature must address the issue of education, and work to move democracy forward. We must make voting more accessible and work across the aisle to solve our state's toughest challenges. When elected, I will be a strong advocate for our children's education and diligently fight to protect democracy for their generation.

T.J. Shope was instrumental in the forming of the Arizona DPS Border Strike Force and continues to fight for what it needs to keep our border secure. T.J. Shope knows parents should be the ones to determine the best education for their children and has fought to give YOU as a parent, the biggest voice! Your vote for T.J. I have been married 28 years, with 7 children, and as a family man, I see a desperate need for Christian leadership in our nation. The Republican party platform is exceptional because it is biblical. I am pro-life because of Psalm 139.13. I am pro-second amendment because of Luke 22.36. The government should be limited and under God (Romans 13). Parents, not the government, are responsible for their children's education and should have school choices (Ephesians 6.1-4). Welfare programs and safety nets start with the family and the church (1 Timothy 5). Marriage is between one man, and one woman (Matthew 19.4-6). Governments should not attempt to supplant God (Psalm 33.12). The Constitution is built upon the principle that men are fallen and when given the opportunity to rule over other men they will be tempted to tyrannize them (Federalist #51 - Madison). Therefore, the Constitution should be understood as a timeless document to be interpreted as the founders inteded it. America should be energy independent and accountable to God, not Marxists (Deuteronomy 28.10-14). What the left fears most is when the people of God base their arguments upon the timeless truth found in the Scriptures (Matthew 7.24-29).

After working for 20 years to get Republican candidates elected and working in their official offices, I am blessed to have the opportunity to serve my community. My priorities as Arizona Representative include protecting local businesses, developing the economy in the face of inflation, and help to bring high paying jobs to her district. Transportation infrastructure is an important point of focus, especially as it pertains to the I-10 expansion between Casa Grande and Chandler as well as improvements on State Route 347 and 238 for the town of Maricopa. I will support legislation that makes our schools and our community safer. I support law enforcement and the adequate funding they require to do their jobs effectively. My other priorities include school choice and empowering parents, election integrity, preserving rural communities, protecting our Second Amendment and water.

My name is Robert Barr and I want to be your State Senator. I am a committed Christian, husband to Jessica, and father of eight. We believe AZ is a great state and don't want to see Pima county become the next California. I have decided I have to stand up and do something or my family will be driven out of AZ due to politicians who have become too comfortable and complacent in office leading to being compromised. They take the easy way out while our community’s crumble. I will go to the Capitol to work but come home to Pima County and live among you, not Phx lobbyists. I will listen to you at church, schools, grocery stores, gas pumps, about education, roads, prices, taxes, regulations and all that concerns you. I will hear you and then be your voice in the State Legislature. I am a Navy veteran and small business entrepreneur. My experience is leading people and managing companies with large budgets. Mike Nickerson
State Senator - District 17

I’m running for State Senate to defend the most basic right of all Arizonans--the right to vote and to have that vote counted honestly. Too many politicians are wasting our tax money on “audits” and highly partisan bills imported from other states that divide us, inflame their constituents and divert our attention from the one issue behind which we must all unite–the right to vote. With our representatives elected fairly, we can work together to address Arizona’s real challenges. I will push to increase funding for our public schools, I will negotiate a water plan to protect Arizona’s future and increase our unique economic advantages to generate solar power, and I will work to ensure the best possible health care for all Arizonans. As a local church pastor, I have served diverse populations. I have brought together people of different backgrounds and opinions to find common ground and sensible solutions. My Master’s degree in urban planning and Ph.D. in historical geography will inform my work. My political activity started with Republicans who championed civil rights. Since then, I have worked on several Democratic campaigns over the years. I know how to work across the aisle.

I am a retired Lt. Colonel, a proud graduate of West Point Academy, a wife and a mother. The motto of the military academy is “Duty, Honor, Country.” We have never needed these virtues more. The spectacle of January 6th was a shameful attack on our shared public values and the fantasy that this was legitimate political discourse puts us all at risk. The right to vote is fundamental to our democracy and we must make certain that all Arizonans who want to vote can vote. Attempts to suppress the vote must stop. Those who are this afraid of democracy, know in their hearts that they will lose a fair election. Our public education system should move from the bottom 5 to the top 5. We need to take steps to insure a safe and abundant water supply for our children and our farmers. Make no mistake. We are in a battle here in Arizona. Government can work but we need to make it work. I don’t back down from a fight and I ask you to join me.

I am a Constitutional Conservative. I believe the U.S. Constitution is the greatest document ever written on self-governance, including the 2nd Amendment which protects all other Amendments. I believe in limited government and when elected I will do everything I can as a State Representative to secure our Southern Border, ensure Election Integrity, promote a strong Arizona Economy, keep taxes as low as possible, and defend our Constitutional Freedoms. I am a Precinct Committeeman, a State Committeeman, and District Chairman of our PC District. This experience has been invaluable in helping me prepare to become a State Representative. I graduated from Coronado HS in Scottsdale, and went to Northern Arizona University on a Track Scholarship where I graduated with a Business Degree. I have succeeded in the corporate world as a Manager, District/Region Manager, and Marketing Company President. My business experience has not only required people skills and managing large teams, but also meeting budgets and P&L (Profit and Loss) responsibility. This experience and these skills will be valuable as a State Representative. My wife Jan & I live in Eagle Crest, we are devout Christians, and have 5 adult Children and 3 Grand kids.

My husband and I have raised our children on Christian, Conservative, and Arizona values. My faith is my prime motivator in all I do for my family and my state. My time in business made me a strong, calculated, and passionate leader, and I now hope to continue utilizing my experience to identify problems, execute solutions, and deliver results in the State House in Phoenix. Having children truly refined my beliefs on the importance of the family in communities. This is why I decided to put my business life aside, and focus on my family, and the families of all Arizonans. This led me to become a teacher, fostering the next generation of Americans. But my business background could not be hidden, so I eventually became the Director of the preschool. As a mother of five, former teacher, and former business executive, I knew that I could no longer sit by and let the Socialist Democrats in Phoenix ruin our great state. This is why I have been a local leader on pro-life, medical freedom, and the border crisis. I am an Authentic Conservative Fighter and will not stop until we have restored Arizona’s values.

Cory McGarr
State Representative - District 17

The events over the past two years have been both astounding and terrifying. We saw a corrupted electoral system, schools teaching critical race theory and radical sexuality to young children, and a governor declaring a state of emergency that gave him the power to mandate medical decisions, close down whatever business he deemed unessential, and have our schools closed down. I looked to our elected leaders for help and couldn’t find anyone willing to stand up and fight for us. It became apparent that the politicians were more worried about their own political careers than doing what was right. I am running to fix the broken election system and eliminate the potential for fraud, to make sure medical decisions are left up to you and your doctor and not your politician and employer. I'm running to fix the school system and create school choice for all Arizonans, to make sure we teach the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic and not critical race theory, radical sexuality and gender theory. We need an uncompromising fighter who will fight for freedom and liberty and won't back down. I am running to be that fighter.

It seems like every GOP candidate is running as a Trump-style MAGA candidate, but how many of them were standing with us when Trump first ran? How many worked to elect him during tough primaries? How many knocked doors, made calls, helped with local events, and gave their all because they knew it was time to take the gloves off and fight for our country? I did those things and more. I did it all over again in 2020 and then I did more, volunteering to help audit the election, spending days doing the tough work we needed to get done. That’s why, when I was asked to run for office, I agreed. You can count on me to work for secure elections, secure borders, school choice, balanced budgets, low taxes, and our Constitutional rights because that’s what I’ve always done. Fighting against Joe Biden and the far-left machine isn’t a campaign slogan for me, it’s a way of life. I’ll fight for our police, for our veterans, for parents and kids, and for our right to live how we want, worship how we want, and choose the medical care we want. I ask for your vote!

I am a retired physician who has lived in the new Legislative District 17 for 38 years. I am also a wife and mother. I am running for Arizona State Representative to represent YOU, and to promote the policies most Arizonans want: (1) honest and reliable governance and elections, (2) good public education that teaches rational thinking and job skills, not racial divisiveness, (3) second amendment rights that allow us to defend ourselves and our families, and (4) individual freedom to make health care decisions for ourselves and our children. Right now, most of us believe our country is headed in the wrong direction, with our borders completely unsecured, inflation out of control, energy sources dependent on foreign and hostile countries, and government deficit spiraling ever upward. We need to push back on these destructive policies as strongly as possible in the state legislature. We must also preserve the authority that the state has traditionally held to manage its own affairs. The candidates we elect to our state legislatures could be the most important people in government over the next few years. Please take the time to vote.

I’m Morgan Abraham. I’ve spent my life working to make Southern Arizona a better place to live, work, and raise a family. As a small business owner, I’ve built and created thousands of affordable housing units. As an Intelligence Officer in the United States Army, I’m fighting to protect and defend our country. As a State Representative, I’ve introduced bills to get rid of tax loopholes, fund education, create a public pre-k system, retire coal and natural gas plants, and increase the supply of affordable housing in our community. As an education advocate, I’ve fought against the draconian cuts harming our public schools, colleges and universities. Whether it was opposing Jan Brewer’s tuition hikes or standing up to Doug Ducey balancing the budget on the backs of our schools, I’m proud to stand up for education. I’m running for the state senate to keep pushing for progressive values and because we need a fighter at the legislature to push back against the republican extremist bills threatening our right to vote. I have the experience, energy, and enthusiasm to get the job done and with your support, I’ll continue fighting for Southern Arizona values at the State Senate.

Stan Caine
State Senator - District 18

Why am I running for office? After working 33 years for the Department of Defense, I knew in my retirement that I couldn’t stand by and watch my great state and country continue down the path it was heading. Gas prices continue to rise; inflation is higher than it’s been in years; our freedoms and liberties are being challenged; people are not respecting police, first responders, or our military; our border is not being enforced; and common respect and courtesy is fading. Families are being torn about by political division that is fueled by the mainstream media. In some ways, I’m glad my mother is not alive to witness the state of things. I respect everyone and will fight for your constitutional freedoms. I helped to raise my three kids in Arizona, and all graduated from Arizona schools. I am a certified substitute teacher in Arizona and have worked in Amphitheater and Marana schools. I wish for Arizona children to have a quality education. It’s time Arizona leads the nation in restoring respect, responsibility, and common decency back into Arizona and our lives. I’m running to make a positive difference!

I am running for State Senate to make Arizona a leader in renewable energy, restore balance to our water issues through conservation and efficiency, and improve our democracy by making voting easy and accessible to all. I teach natural resources law at the University of Arizona and my career has been focused on environmental sustainability and addressing climate change. I am also a voting rights advocate and have been leading voter protection efforts and engagement on redistricting within the Arizona Democratic Party. I was born and raised in the LD18 district and I want the wonderful opportunities I had in our public schools to be available to all Arizona children. I studied engineering at MIT and law and natural resource economics at the U of A, so I know we need more science-based decision-making in politics. State Representative - District 18
Democratic

Nathan Davis was born and raised in Tucson. He is the proud product of Arizona public education and a graduate of Pima Community College and the University of Arizona. Nathan returned to Tucson after receiving an MA in International Affairs from the George Washington University. He and his wife teach in Tucson Unified School District and are members of the Tucson Education Association. Nathan left the classroom last year to run his family’s small business but continues to substitute teach. Over the years, Nathan realized that the solution couldn’t just come from the classroom, one underpaid teacher at a time, or one business owner paying livable wages and supporting workers. It must come from structural change rooted in sound policy decisions and new ideas. Nathan is a Democrat who will stand up for our values in the Arizona House of Representatives to reinvest in public education; support workers’ rights and our small, local businesses; fight for bills that combat climate change; expand access to the ballot for all Arizona citizens; and protect legal abortion care in Arizona.

My passion is public education. I am running to ensure that Arizona puts public education, teachers, staff and students as a priority. We must prioritize public education and fully fund it so that we can ensure all students receive an education that will allow them to be successful in the paths they choose. Teachers should be empowered to teach students with creativity and knowledge, rather than being demeaned. Education in Arizona should bring opportunities for all students to learn in a variety of modalities in order to prepare for a bright future. I am a Gun Sense Candidate and will work for sensible gun legislation. I will protect a pregnant person’s right to choose what they want for their body. I support and will protect voter’s rights. It is essential to our Democracy that each person who is able to vote has the opportunity to do so. It is important to protect our precious water and not allowing legislation to steal water from underserved communities. We must work together to protect our public education, right to choose, our voting rights and our water.

Charlie Verdin is a dedicated father and one of the owners of Fangamer, an online retailer based in Tucson. He is a member of the Point-Aux-Chien Indian Tribe of South Louisiana. As the father of two young children soon entering the school system, Charlie is also determined to help properly fund public education as soon as possible. Finally, Charlie brings an understanding of technology due to coming of age with the Internet. Depending on how it's used, technology has the capacity to bring about great opportunities and prosperity if used wisely but also great harm when used carelessly or maliciously. David Gowan
State Senator - District 19

I’m proud to be your State Senator and never forget why I ran for office, or who I work for. I’ve worked to put an end to the liberal establishment running our state, and to make sure rural Arizona has a strong voice to stand up to the Maricopa County majorities that dominate our State Legislature. I’ve been named Champion of the Taxpayer, Friend of the Family, earned an A+ from the NRA, turned our state’s budget deficit into a surplus, and helped turn Arizona into the #1 pro-life state, #1 pro-2ndAmendment state, and #1 pro-school choice state in the country, all while cutting regulations and growing jobs! Your values are my values! I’ve served as Speaker of the House, giving Southern and rural Arizona real influence, and today, as the Senate Appropriations Chairman, that influence continues. My mission is the same – to give you, our district, and Arizona, my very best! I continue to fight for election integrity, secure borders, high-paying jobs, quality schools and school choice, taking care of our police and veterans, and more. I ask for your vote and thank you for the trust you have shown in me through the years. God bless!

Sanda Clark
State Representative - District 19

I am Sanda Clark. With a sense of profound gratitude for all this country has given to me, with a determination to build a better, more sustainable, more inclusive Arizona for everyone, I am running for a seat in the AZ House, LD19 Born in Bucharest, Romania, I came to the University of TX in Austin in 1968. There I met my life partner and husband, cellist/playwright Harry Clark. Together we have enjoyed a tough but rewarding life in the field of chamber music. My reasons for running: 1. Growing up in Bucharest, witnessing the events in Ukraine, told me it's time to stop complaining and do something! 2. My life in music gifted me with perseverance, determination and the joy teamwork provides. I am running because I am passionate to keep our Republic, to promote and restore civility and decency to our town square. We are better together! Time to appreciate how lucky we are to be Americans. I promise to call as I see it, to work to preserve our freedoms, protect the planet, protect and expand affordable healthcare, secure a good wage and public education for our kids

Sally Gonzales
State Senator - District 20
Democratic
I am Senator Sally Ann Gonzales. I’ve had the privilege and honor to serve my constituents for the past 12 years. It has been my mission to advocate and protect our most vulnerable citizens, our children, elders, disabled, and veterans. As Arizona continue to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and enters a housing crisis, it is crucial to continue to work to provide a safety-net for all our citizens impacted. In the education arena, fully funding our public district schools means providing, competitive salaries and benefits for all teachers and support staff as well as smaller classroom sizes. Having full-time counselors and nurses at each school is vital for the social and emotional wellbeing of our students. I’m committed to expanding vocational opportunities and growing our workforce by funding and supporting programs like JTED. It is essential that our three universities/community colleges be recognized, treated, and funded as engines of economic development in Arizona. In closing, clean air and water are essential to the well-being of our citizens. Therefore, Arizona must have strong laws to ensure the protection and improvement of our environment. PROTECTING OUR VOTING RIGHTS IS FUNDAMENTAL! I humbly ask for your continued support on August 2, 2022.

AndrÉs Cano
State Representative - District 20
Democratic
https://www.andresforarizona.com/
Hello! I’m State Representative AndrÉs Cano. I've had the honor of serving in the Arizona House of Representatives since 2019. Arizona continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. For example: our state is at the bottom of K-12 spending nationwide, we spend more money sending people to prison annually than on our three universities combined, housing costs are skyrocketing, and our environment is more at risk than ever before. As your voice at the Capitol, I opposed dozens of laws restricting our freedom to vote, voted against the 15-week abortion ban, and vehemently said "no" to the passage of discriminatory legislation that harms Arizona's LGBTQ+ youth. While my Republican colleagues refuse to bring us together, I won't sit silent: I'm running for re-election to hold them accountable and to leave our state with a reputation we can be proud of. With a $5 billion surplus, we have the resources needed to invest in working families and small businesses, to lower health care costs, increase teacher pay, and to protect our air, land, and water. I humbly ask for your vote of confidence as I seek to continue representing our shared values in the State House. Thank you.

Leadership, Experience, and Common Sense; I am honored to bring my skills and energy to the new Legislative District 21. It is an honor to take ideas from Southern Arizona to the State Senate because that is what Arizona needs; a little common sense and straight from the heart. I have served as an Arizona State Representative for LD 2 from 2013 to 2021. It was an honor to be elected in 2020 and serve as the State Senator for LD 2 since 2021. I am known for my work with the local stakeholders, school boards, and business partners to bring together successful opportunities for growth and education. I am delighted to advocate for programs that provide funding and sustainable solutions to assist our most vulnerable population. Let’s work together to create opportunities and prosperity by supporting and encouraging public education and economic development. I will continue to champion protecting Arizona’s unique environment and address our need for a sustainable water supply. Together, we have successfully brought the collective energy and leadership necessary to shape the future of our State. I humbly ask for your support to continue our excellent work.

My campaign for State Representative is reflection of my passion and mission to make things better for the people of Tucson and Pima County. After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Global Health, I dedicated my career to mentoring at-risk youth and spent over a decade fighting for education equity in Pima County. I also went on to host free citizenship clinics, raise money for students DACA renewals and spent time overseas working in public health in Panama and Ghana. As a young Latina, my parents taught my siblings and I the value of public service. From the time I started at first grade at Liberty Elementary to when I graduated from Sunnyside High School, I knew working to make my community better mattered. And, as President of the Sunnyside Union School District School Board, I am honored and humbled to serve these schools so important to my own personal and professional journey. As LD-21’s next State Representative, my top priorities will be: Restoring full funding for public schools. Rebuild Arizona’s economy by investing in our small business community Invest in infrastructure and renewable energy resources. Preserve and protect our right to vote.

Welcome Arizona, Before I was a Arizona State candidate....before I was voted as Acting Mayor of South Tucson City Council....I was a government intern studying Business Management and legislative policy. With six years of local government experience, I understand how state legislative policies preempt local municipalities. My personal connection to entrepreneurs and cities is why like so many of you, I want more done for small businesses. I am committed to making our community a better place to live and work. I am running because I believe the future of Arizona lies in the hands of 90 state representatives. I want the well being of my district to be sustainable through empowerment, economic development (e.g. tourism), health care, housing, mental health, financial literacy, livable wages, mobility, and environmental justice. I speak to residents frequently and what they want, is a representative who has faced challenges and understands the issues they face on a daily basis. My goal is simple: help people and communities prosper and create jobs. Focusing on policies that help not hinder the people served, employment, and business investment. I sincerely request your vote again and look forward to hearing your ideas. With your vote, we can change our future together!

In our lifetime, never has our state and nation's future depended on the outcome of an election My name is Stephanie Stahl Hamilton, and I am running for the Arizona House of Representatives in District 21. I serve in the State Senate after being appointed to fill a vacancy. In 2020, I was first elected to the State House to serve in District 10. Serving the public is my calling and vocation. As the wife of a public middle school teacher and mom of three children, education has always been a top priority. I spent my personal and professional life advocating for the needs of children in my community. Through it all, I saw how the legislature has failed Arizona families, especially our most vulnerable populations. I know how to help constituents access the services they need and overcome the challenges they face. With an eye to the future, I am committed to putting in place policies that create opportunities for Arizona children and families and safeguarding resources so that generations beyond will have what they need to succeed. I can promise you that I will serve with justice, compassion, and common sense.

I serve because we need a blue-collar worker, a Union Dues Paying member to represent working families. I have been watching my Union Sisters and Brothers getting infected with COVID, and some have died. We need better worker protections for all workers from railroaders to educators. Corporations and big businesses every year set goals to increase their profits at the cost of Labor. The company I work for is no exception, trying to make us more available, and expecting us to do more with fewer, while increasing our workload and maintaining the same productivity while making it harder to perform our jobs safely. I believe “One Job Should Be Enough”, because many are working multiple jobs to put food on the table. Housing is becoming unattainable for 1st time buyers and many homes including the neighborhood I live have multi generation families. Rent is outrageous. I will continue to serve because as I tell many, I get it and live that lifestyle of a worker, because like them I have to work.

I proudly serve Arizona in the House of Representatives in the new LD22. My journey as a union member to a small business owner has led me to public service. Began as a city council member and served as the Vice Mayor of the City of Tolleson. I have had the opportunity to serve on many commissions and boards as a Representative of Arizona such as the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO), Commerce Committee (Ranking Member), Native American Caucus, United States Green Building Council and Military, Veterans and Regulatory Affairs Committee. Serving as a Teen Youth Council Mentor and see the youth strive to become leaders and generate life skills is a passion fulfilled. As a lifelong west valley resident and small business owner, I understand the concerns and opportunities that our community shares. It has and will continue to be my commitment to serve LD22 and fight for a safe and vibrant Arizona.

Elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2018 and Avondale's City Council in 2014, I take pride in bringing trusted leadership and proven results to LD22 residents. My voting record and actions demonstrate my dedication to creating good jobs, investing in public education, and building thriving communities. My vote expanded a technology company that created $12B in economic impact and thousands of good-paying jobs. Quality public education is a priority, which is why I secured $45 million to restore high-quality PreK seats, and worked with school superintendents, libraries, and nonprofits to fund 40,000 free books for our youngest learners. I fought to bring the first COVID-19 testing site to the southwest portion of LD22, and voted to increase funding for our frontline workers, expanding health and safety resources in our communities. The son of a Vietnam veteran and Arizona copper miner, I come from humble but proud Latino roots. A product of our public school system, I was the first in my family to graduate from college. As a husband and father who has raised my family in LD22, I’m honored to be delivering on the promise of the American Dream for those in my community.

Leezah is dedicated to improving LD22 for everyone, especially working families. She’s a known and experienced community leader who’s been featured in AZ Central and other outlets for her organizing and leadership efforts. She values people over dark money and corporations. Her agenda demands better quality jobs, higher wages, better working conditions, more robust healthcare, and better funded public education in our district. Leezah is dedicated to fighting for these issues, and has a proven track record of championing unions and working families. She believes in improving education funding for both our students and teachers so that we can provide a brighter future for Arizona. She wants to end predatory HOA practices and unfair zoning standards which create inhospitable living conditions for our most vulnerable populations. Above all, she believes in putting people first. Leezah believes special interest groups are making a mockery of our Constitution. She’s the only candidate in this race who has signed a pledge to run as a Citizens Clean Election candidate for the second time. This means that she has vowed never to take special interest or big donor dollars for her campaign. Join her with your vote, and let’s put people back in politics.

Blessed with a unique district that is home to a variety of cultures and natural resources. Arizona’s Desert Southwest Yields the highest quality agriculture, bottled dairy, hunting, military installations and some of the friendliest people. Sadly, our rural district is suffering from a lack of funding for water, education, health care and infrastructure from border walls to highways & residential widening streets projects. When we demand money for our rural communities needs, our current long term legislators (D) Vote NO. Infrastructure is critical for our rural communities safety ,thats why I'm going to the State Capitol to prioritize the Urgency that has been neglected and a complete failure under our current long term elected legislators. The quality of life we enjoy shouldn't be a pawn in a partisan political game. While businesses & families are still recovering from the damage done to our economy by the pandemic. The tax burden placed on business owners must be lightened- substantially. Property taxes must come down. Our communities can't survive thru this inflation in food supplies , rising housing prices and fuel cost ! Im going to the State Capital to finish our recovery & lighten the burdens created by the current administration (d)

My family moved to Arizona 15 years ago, this is where we chose to raise our family. If you allow me the opportunity to serve you as State Representative, I will work to make Arizona a place where all people feel welcomed and are able to thrive. I’ve had the honor of serving my community through my career, volunteer service, as community organizer, and elected school board member (Agua Fria UHSD). We've had the same party leading Arizona since the Vietnam War; this is simply not working for families today. We’ve got big challenges in Arizona including education, affordable healthcare/housing, need for a living wage, voter suppression and prolonged drought. Our district needs someone with the experience and commitment to tackle these challenges. But nothing will be addressed until we elect new leadership. If elected, I will take on those challenges, beginning with public education funding and educator pay. Arizona needs trusted servant-leaders with values and integrity that reflect our working-class. We need representatives who understand and put the needs of the voters above their own interests. I commit to be that representative for you and your family. I hope to earn your vote, so that together, we can build a better Arizona for all!

Cesar Chavez

State Representative CÉsar N. ChÁvez was first elected in 2016 to represent the 29th Legislative District in the Arizona House of Representatives. Born in Mexico, along with his parents immigrated to the United States when he was three years old. From a young age, ChÁvez saw the lack of resources within his community. His involvement was key to numerous movements including the protests against anti-immigrant law, SB1070. His compassion for Arizona’s wellbeing led him to champion other key issues such as education, healthcare, and economic development. Since being elected, ChÁvez has proven to be an integral member of the legislature. Not only has he been able to work efficiently for the benefit of his constituency, but he’s been able to stop hurtful legislation from going through the legislative process. He’s been a champion to ensure job growth, accessibility to healthcare, and public education funding. Representative ChÁvez has also led the charge to seek solutions towards the housing crises and providing services to those experiencing homelessness. “I seek your trust in electing me as your State Senator for Arizona’s 24th legislative district. Together we will end this housing crisis and ensure that all Arizonan’s have an opportunity at the American Dream.”

Anna Hernandez

Anna Hernandez is a Democrat running for State Senate in Legislative District 24. She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. While she never wanted to run for office, her family, like many families, has paid the cost of the choices of politicians who put money and ego before people. Because of their choices, AZ ranks 48th in education but 8th in incarceration, quality jobs aren’t in our neighborhoods, housing is unaffordable, and our communities are denied important resources. Anna began advocating for police accountability and reinvestment of the police budget in community resources after her brother was killed by the Phoenix Police Department in 2019. Anna believes that we need to be represented by people that understand the impact of their decisions. She is committed to fighting for fully funded education for children, access to quality jobs, affordable housing for all, resources for mental health and substance use, and freedom from state violence.

For the past 8 years she has been working across Arizona to help elect democratic candidates, pass progressive ballot initiatives and educate voters on the importance of elections and making their voices heard. In 2020 Anna decided it was time to give back to her community even more by running for the Cartwright Elementary School District, where not only did she attend school but so did her family. She was elected in Nov 2020. Anna’s goal as a Governing Board Member is to bring more programs and funding to the CSD to help support the Fine Arts in Maryvale and be an advocate for Special Education programs and proper educational care for those with special needs. When Anna is elected to the House of Representatives she plans on continuing those goals for all of Arizona Public Schools.

Lydia Hernandez
State Representative - District 24
Democratic
Lydia Hernandez is the daughter of migrant farmworkers, born in South Texas. Her resilient path began at a young age as a migrant coupled with her parents' insistence on the importance of education are the key components that created Lydia’s hunger for knowledge. She is a graduate of Baylor University. In Arizona, (1993), she grew into a leadership role with Valley Interfaith Project as a grassroots leader, organizing public actions. Her involvement & leadership led to the birth of the Arizona Coalition for Immigrant Rights, an effort to civically engage families in public discourse which ultimately culminated in the massive marches that encouraged over 300,000 families to advocate for immigrant rights. This exposed Arizona nationally, and for the first time, our state was engaged in the conversation with national groups regarding training, civic engagement, citizen workshops, voter registration, and get-out- the-vote efforts. Currently, Mrs. Hernandez serves on the Cartwright School District Governing Board #83 where she has served since 2003. In 2010, under her leadership, turned the District academically around. Mrs. Hernandez is a former State Legislator for LD29 with over 30 years of experience in public service! EDUCATION! JOBS! HOUSING! HEALTH CARE! BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL!

Hector Jaramillo
State Representative - District 24

Hector Jaramillo has lived in Arizona for his entire life. A first generation American, Hector was educated in Glendale, inside the district he hopes to represent: from Washington Elementary School District, to Glendale Union High School District and Glendale Community College, he knows first hand where LD24 educates their children. With a passion for serving, after some time as a classroom assistant, Hector engages in 1-on-1 therapy for children with autism. Having been born in Phoenix to immigrant parents with low-incomes, Hector knows what it’s like to struggle. The government should use its resources to help struggling families, Hector believes. Hector spent years wishing the government would do things differently. In 2020, after George Floyd and Breonna Taylor were killed by reckless arms of the government, Hector knew he had to do more than protest- he had to join the fight and be part of the solution. Hector is ready to serve his district and his state. It's time our representatives fought for the voters. Hector Jaramillo is ready to represent LD24.

I'm Analise Ortiz. I was born in Arizona and grew up in a family of six kids. My parents are both educators and they taught us that our communities are strongest when neighbors look out for each other. I graduated from ASU with dreams of becoming an investigative journalist. As I uncovered injustice in my community, I knew I couldn’t just report on it–I had to work to change it. Today, I serve our community by fighting for changes to state laws so we can invest in public education, protect civil rights, and help hard-working people thrive. I have successfully advocated for bipartisan civil rights legislation to be signed into law and I have experience defeating harmful bills that threatened our most basic freedoms. As an auntie to six kids, I'm dedicated to building a brighter future for Arizona families. I'm running to represent Maryvale and Glendale in the Arizona House of Representatives to deliver courageous and compassionate leadership. I will work to invest in public schools, address the high cost of housing, and bring good-paying jobs to our community. I'm Analise Ortiz and I hope to earn your support.

Thank you for allowing me the honor of serving as your State Senator. Arizona is again a national leader in job production and economic growth because of the great pro-growth environment we have built. I continue to vote as a conservative and I win awards from pro-family and pro-taxpayer groups because of it. I’ll always be pro-taxpayer, pro-family, pro-life, and pro-Constitution! The Kerr Family owns and operates a dairy farm in Buckeye and our 4th generation Arizona roots are deep in the soil. Among the issues I work on at the Legislature are education (promoting school choice and ending radical ideas like Critical Race Theory), water, public safety, and growing our economy with high-paying jobs. I’m grateful for everyone in both Maricopa and Yuma County who is working with me to protect our blessed state and country. Today, the left has become irrational and increasingly confrontational, so we must all remain steadfast to protect our nation’s foundational values and ideals. I ask for your vote so I can continue doing this important work and thank you for your prayers and support!

The past two years, Tim Dunn has been a conservative voice for our district. And for the last two years, Joel John has voted with the Democrats on critical issues to cancel out Tim’s vote. Our district deserves better! That’s why I agreed to run. Unlike Joel John, I’ll defend the taxpayers, I’ll fight for election integrity, I’ll vote for school choice, and I’ll fight to end illegal immigration. Joel John kills school choice bills, supports in-state tuition for illegal aliens (something we don’t even give to law-abiding Americans from other states), approved the use of Mexico’s consular cards as legal ID for our schools, and more. With our one-vote margin in the State House, good bills are dying and bad bills are passing thanks to Joel John. Enough is enough! I’ve been a loyal conservative Republican my whole life. I’ve served on the school board and fought against critical race theory (CRT) and other left-wing schemes. I even served as Chairman of our local district’s Republican Party, where I worked hard to re-elect President Trump, Congressmen Lesko, Gosar, and others. I ask for your vote so I can work for our conservative values, not against them.

Timothy "Tim" Dunn

Arizona is a great place to live. Our economy has rebounded out of Covid in a very positive manner. As a legislator I will continue to push for physical conservative principles. We should continue to adequately fund those agencies that are crucial for the public good and education. Without raising taxes. I support the additional funding we have provided to the national guard to interdict drugs coming across the border. The water providers of the state have prepared for a drought like we are in currently. As a legislator I will continue to advocate for new sources of water outside of the state to be brought in.

As a fourth generation Arizonan, I've watched our state grow and change. I am proud of my deep roots in Arizona which is why I run a small business in Buckeye. My work ethic and commitment to family values are what made me a lifelong Republican, but it is my belief in the American dream and my commitment to safe neighborhoods and family values that make me Conservative. I am excited to run for re-election to the State House. At the Capitol I have balanced the budget and cut taxes, supported election integrity legislation, and invested in law enforcement to keep our communities and neighborhoods safe. We will secure our border, provide small businesses with resources they need to succeed, protect our water supply, and commit to safe and secure elections. I am accountable to my constituents and guided by our Constitution and my faith. With your support, I will fight for Arizona values, uphold our Conservative priorities, and protect our natural resources and neighborhoods. I look forward to earning your vote for re-election to the State House for the new District 25.

Raquel TerÁn
State Senator - District 26

My name is Raquel A. TerÁn and I am a Democrat running to represent the residents of Legislative District 26 in the Arizona Senate. My family taught me that there comes a time when you have to put your values into action. In 2006, I saw anti-immigrant sentiment and legislation gaining momentum in Arizona. Because of my deep belief in equality, fairness, and family, I started organizing in our community and became a trusted community leader in the battles against SB1070 (the racial-profiling law), the fight against former Sheriff Joe Arpaio. I am asking for your vote to continue the fight to ensure every child is able to grow up in the best community possible and that those who have given their time and years of work to the district are able to enjoy the fruits of that work. That means fighting for good, fully-funded neighborhood schools, access to quality affordable healthcare for everyone, good-paying jobs, and access to affordable housing. You have my utmost commitment that I will show up every day ready to fight for our families.

I am a fifth-generation Arizonan, born and raised in West Phoenix. I received a Master’s degree in Migration Studies from the University of San Francisco, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago. I am running for State Representative because I want every family in our community to truly thrive; where our children can pursue their educational goals, have great careers, and lead extraordinary lives. We are still overcoming the pandemic and the cost of living has skyrocketed. Our schools, which should be places where students, teachers, and parents are supported, have faced continuous uncertainty. Strong PreK-12 public schools, affordable housing, and access to healthcare are necessities. With a background in economic and immigration policy, I am committed to supporting small businesses, as well as ensuring dignity in all work. Each of my experiences as an educator, Congressional staffer, and in the nonprofit sector provide me with the skills to address our district’s most pressing needs while working for a more just, and livable future for Arizona, and generations to come. I invite you to visit my website FlavioBravo.com. It would be an honor to earn your vote and to serve you at the State Legislature.

Gil Hacohen
State Representative - District 26

Over the past several years, I’ve witnessed my community slowly decay. Homelessness, has become pervasive. Meanwhile, rent has spiraled out of control with increases above 50%, driving many neighbors away. For those who stay, many are afraid to let their children play outside after dark. Meanwhile, down at the capitol, Republican politicians continue making it harder for all Arizonans to vote in elections. I believe that we deserve better. Families should feel safe from crime as well as rising costs. Basic necessities such as food, shelter, clothing, and medical assistance (including mental healthcare) should be available for those in need. Everyone should have the opportunity to achieve their American Dream, whatever that may mean to them. With my unique perspective as an immigrant, and small business owner, as well as the experience I have acquired as a successful litigator and negotiator with the law firm I founded, Lawyers For Less PLLC, I will implement common sense solutions to our policy problems, and help us move past political polarization based on ideological “issue positions.” I want to serve my community by being a part of the change I want to see.

We need law and order to return and to put an end to human and drug trafficking. Jamie will work hard to support job growth and small business. She opposes new taxes and supports tax reforms. Arizona voters deserve a hardworking conservative leader who will deliver results and solutions for a strong future for our families and children.

Anthony Kern
State Senator - District 27

President Donald Trump endorsed me because he knows how important this race is to our Republican Party and the State of Arizona. President Trump referred to me as “...an incredible fighter for Election Integrity” and applauded my work fighting for America First policies, the Second Amendment, Jobs, Secure Borders, and Education. As a former State Representative, I stood up to special interests and stopped a lot of bad bills. As a result, I now have a primary challenger that opposes President Trump and my conservative record, so I need your vote to ensure that we secure our elections against fraud, secure our borders against the ongoing invasion, and push back against attempts by Joe Biden’s administration to drag us towards socialism. My opponent will claim to be a conservative (don’t they always?), but my actual voting record is better than any mere promise. I’ve been awarded the Liberty Award, Friend of the Family Award, and Hero of the Taxpayer Award. I’m proud to be on a team of proven conservatives who don’t just fight, they win. Please support Kern, Toma and Payne and elect a team that will put Arizona First! On behalf of my wife and family, Thank You!

I’m a working Joe who ran for office to makes government work better. I’m an America First Constitutional Conservative Veteran (US Navy) who promised to look out for you and, working with my fellow Representative Ben Toma, kept that promise. You elected us, we went to work, and we kept our promises by fighting for strong election integrity and transparency measures, secure borders (finish that wall ASAP), low taxes, safe neighborhoods, and more. We passed the largest tax cut in Arizona history, expanded school choice options for our kids, and more. As Chairman of the House Military Affairs and Public Safety Committee, I’ve led efforts to Back The Blue, support first responders, and look after our military bases and veterans. And my voting record is 100% pro-gun, pro-Constitution, pro-life, and pro-Arizona. Your MAGA conservative team of Kern, Toma and Payne face primary challenges from other Republicans who will also claim to be conservative, but you have three PROVEN conservatives running, so I hope our America First records have earned your votes. There is too much at stake to take even the smallest step to the left. Every candidate makes promises, but Kern, Toma and Payne have kept theirs! Thank you!

Ben Toma
State Representative - District 27

I’m a husband, father, small-business owner, and committed conservative. As the House Majority Leader I’ve fought an emboldened Democrat minority and beaten them. Working with my seatmate Kevin Payne, we’re passing reforms to make our elections more secure and transparent. I authored and led passage of the largest tax cut in state history, have record tax revenues, increased K-12 classroom funding and teacher pay, put a stop to Critical Race Theory (CRT) and other left-wing attempts to indoctrinate our kids, and have one of the strongest economies and job markets in the nation. I have a 100% pro-Constitution voting record and, as the father of five girls, am absolutely committed to protecting our 2nd Amendment rights. I’m running as your proven conservative team with Anthony Kern and Kevin Payne because I’m tired of candidates who campaign as conservatives or try to do Trump impressions to fool voters. Kern, Toma and Payne are actual MAGA conservatives with proven records of protecting taxpayers, limiting the size of government, and protecting our liberties. This battle is not for the faint of heart, or for those whose ambitions matter more than ideology. Let’s work together to protect Arizona. We ask for your vote!

As one of your two State Representatives, I’ve worked hard on the issues you tell me matter most – Election Integrity, Ending Illegal Immigration, Public Safety, Improving Transportation, Jobs, Quality Schools and School Choice, and Protecting Our Constitutional Rights. As your State Senator I’ll continue to produce real results for you. I’m running with David Livingston and Beverly Pingerelli as your Proven Conservative Team because, like me, they are award-winning champions of the taxpayer and families and we share common conservative values. I spent my career in the transportation industry, on the mechanical and technological side, so my heart is with the working men and women of this country who want their government to do its job and to otherwise leave them alone to live in peace. Within the GOP, I’ve served as Precinct Captain, State Delegate, District 2nd Vice Chairman and then 1st Vice Chairman. I was also President of the Sun City West Republican Club. I’m a member of the NRA, AZCDL, a current board member ASRPA and also work with Americans for Prosperity and Center for Arizona Policy. I’d be honored to once again earn your vote and hope you will support our conservative team. Thank you.

As a small business owner of more than 25 years who understands regulation restrictions that saddle small businesses. I believe in Economic Prosperity for Arizona. I'm a proud wife of a military veteran and will fight for our second amendment rights. This drove me to create a successful charter school where I became a founding board member. A Back-to-Basics Traditional Education that promotes Patriotism with over 800 student enrollments. I served on the Board of Directors for 8 years, believing in school choice, no indoctrination or transgender education in our schools. I am a wife, mother, small business owner, endurance athlete, and veteran. I am running as the Democratic candidate for Arizona State House of Representatives in Legislative District 28. A bit about me. I have family roots here in Arizona. As a child, my grandmother came to the state in a covered wagon in 1907 before Arizona was a state. Her family homesteaded outside of Pearce, Arizona. My uncle still lives on the ranch. I left Arizona in high school but returned in 1998. I love it here. I want it to continue to be a welcoming state with freedom and opportunities for everyone. I believe our citizens want the same things. The kitchen table issues: Quality education - an excellent public school system Health and wellbeing - access to quality and affordable healthcare Good paying jobs and opportunity Environmental practices for a sustainable future including water security. Voting rights and participation in civic engagement An equitable and just system where all citizens are treated fairly I look forward to the opportunity to represent the citizens of Arizona’s Legislative District 28.

When I ran for office, I promised to put taxpayers and families first, and I’ve done exactly that. Every candidate claims to support conservative ideas, but I have a 100% voting record FOR secure elections, a strong border (including a border wall), and an end to illegal immigration. I have a 100% pro-life and pro-2nd Amendment record. I’ve earned the “Friend of the Family” and the “Hero of the Taxpayer” awards and have led on education funding and teacher pay increases. The Wuhan virus knocked our economy down but today Arizona is the fastest recovered state in the country thanks to our low tax and regulatory burden, and a pro-growth environment that keeps government out of the way and lets the free market do its thing. I have opposed special interests, voted NO on bad bills, and was proud to be a 2016 delegate for Donald Trump at the RNC National Convention, so now I have a contested primary. Bring it on! I work for you and will keep doing what’s right. I’m running as a team with Beverly Pingerelli and Frank Carroll and we are glad to be your Proven Conservative Team! I ask for your vote. Thank you!

As a conservative, I believe problems are best solved by applying the principles of limited government. As a Constitutionalist, I know solutions must respect our Constitutionally guaranteed rights. As your Representative, these principles have guided my votes. In just my first term, I’ve won awards for my conservative voting record -- improving accountability in educational spending and academic standards, promoting school choice and parental rights, defending the sanctity of life, vigorously fighting against governmental overreach and mandates, and strengthening the Second Amendment and religious freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution. I will continue to fight for secure elections, strong borders, and full restoration of our medical and individual liberties. You get TWO votes for State Representative -- please cast them for BOTH me and David Livingston. We’re running as your Proven Conservative Team with Frank Carroll, who is running for the State Senate. They share my passion and values and we've been an effective team at the State Capitol. I’ve been married 34 years, and my husband and I are blessed with two beautiful daughters. Arizona is our home, and we will continue the work of making it the best state in the country. I’d appreciate your vote. Thank you!

Joanne believes hard work, commitment to God, and strong family values have helped her live the American Dream. Joanne and her husband Ken have been married for 36 years. Part of your Proven Conservative Team of Shamp, Smith and Montenegro! I’m a true constitutional conservative, wife, bonus mom, cowgirl, and a Registered Nurse. I’ve been in politics for many years, but the lockdowns, mandates, and shutting down of scientific debate during the Covid pandemic got me very involved in the fight for medical freedom and our rights. When State Representative Joanne Osborne announced she was running against me I knew we were in for a fight. Osborne’s out-of-state and liberal backers poured huge money into her last race and they’re promising to do so again. Osborne campaigns like a conservative but voted for in-state tuition for illegal aliens, against school choice for lower-income kids, is a roadblock for conservative bills, and has been named one of the three most liberal Republicans in the entire Legislature. Please support our America First team! Too many good bills are failing by one or two votes, and we can’t afford to give up a single seat to a liberal lawmaker. We need secure borders and secure elections. We must protect taxpayers, parents, police and veterans, and our Constitutional rights. I’m running to do what’s right and I hope I’ve earned your vote!

Steve Montenegro

Part of your Proven Conservative Team of Shamp, Smith & Montenegro! I was honored to serve you before in the Legislature where I led on tough issues like fighting against illegal immigration, ending affirmative action, passing constitutional carry, and passing record-breaking tax cuts. I had a perfect 100% pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, pro-taxpayer voting record, winning awards like Champion of the Taxpayer and Friend of the Family. As an Arizona delegate for Donald Trump in 2016, I made numerous appearances on national TV defending our President. Back in the private sector, I have continued to serve as a Pastor, and am also working with national organizations that want to improve election integrity and ballot security across the country. Our conservative team faces a tough primary challenge against well-funded opponents who campaign as conservatives but embrace liberal Democrat ideals. Arizona and America cannot afford weak Republicans who cater to the media and liberal special interests. We support our veterans, our police and first responders, our small businesses, and conservative principles like school choice, opposing CRT, enforcing our immigration laws, and more. I’m blessed with an incredible wife and two wonderful daughters. Our whole family thanks you for your prayers, support, and vote!

My name is Hop Nguyen, a resident of Surprise running for Arizona State Representative in Legislative District 29. At the age of 17, immigrated to the United States as a political refugee. For the next 6 years, I worked extremely hard to earn a living and at the same time attending school, without government assistance. At age 31, I was very privileged to take the oath of citizenship, and have never regretted it since. In the past 40 years I was involved in the corporate world as a computer analyst, project manager and contract reviewer. I was also deeply involved in Christian ministries such as Sunday School ministry, feeding the homeless, foreign mission, pastoring, etc. It has been my focus to serve the people around me wherever I was placed. As your State Representative, I will continue the tradition I’ve kept up for the last 40 years by serving and defending Arizonans’ rights, guided by the Constitution which I took the oath to defend. I will work had to preserve individual freedom and create opportunity for you and your children to prosper in Arizona. My first priority is to even the funding of public schools and charter school / for profit businesses. The public schools lose funding for every for profit school to the tune of $4,347.00. For profit schools make up for only 25% of schools but are funded at $11,000 for each student. Water conservation is a high priority and as a geographer it’s one I’m trained to address. We need to cover the CAP canals to save 29sq miles of water one foot deep. As the water evaporates the remaining water becomes so salty that it’s not drinkable. We need to build renewable energy stations to pump the water up hill some 1000 feet. Medical bankruptcy bills from a severe illness or injury get people evicted or foreclosed. They become homeless just because they got sick or injured. I propose a state grant from the state surplus and reforming the private prison industry. I’m a common sense person that breaks down problems down to the simplest terms. I don’t like legislation that’s overly complicated that creates loopholes for the wealthy. The legislature is made up of wealthy people looking out for themselves and not the everyday Janes and Joes.

Please support our conservative team so we can work together to advance conservative ideals like election integrity, border security, school choice, tax cuts, health care freedom, Second Amendment rights, life, and liberty. We’ll protect Arizona’s water future, our military bases like Luke AFB, and our senior population, to whom we owe a great deal. It makes no sense to elect some of us, and then also elect more liberal candidates to go and cancel out our votes. They want to be seen as kinder, gentler Republicans, but what Arizona and America needs are real Republicans who will have the courage to do what is right. I answered my country's call of duty after 9/11, serving in combat in Iraq. Now my wife and I are raising our three sons in the west valley community where I grew up. I'm concerned about the America and Arizona they will inherit. That's why I'm running for the State House. I was elected to the school board to open our schools, keep kids in classrooms, and keep critical race theory out. I support our hardworking teachers and parents. I'm proud to have cut property taxes and supported our local law enforcement officers. My priorities will be enacting conservative education reform at the state level, supporting our police departments, securing the southern border, fostering an economic rebuild with growth and development, fighting against high gas prices and inflation, and restoring confidence in our elections by making them more secure. I ask for your support if you believe in the following: - Border Security - Election Integrity - Supporting our police - Job Creation - The 2nd Amendment - The Right to Life - Tax Relief for Hardworking Families - We need more veterans fighting for you in the legislature My record is one of service and I would be honored to serve you again in this capacity.

Sonny Borrelli
State Senator - District 30

I currently serve as the Majority Whip in the State Senate, where, alongside my rock-solid seatmate Leo Biasiucci, I have taken the lead on important issues like election integrity, ballot security, fighting illegal immigration, and protecting taxpayers. Thanks to good decisions, our state's budget is not only balanced, we have been producing large surpluses. Instead of spending that money like the establishment wants, we have paid off debts to save on future interest costs, and then we’ve given the extra revenues back to you in the form of tax cuts. In fact, just last year we passed the biggest tax cut in Arizona history! The left wants to make government bigger and the individual smaller, but we know that America is founded on ideals that are quite the opposite. I fight to maximize individual liberty and to keep government as small as possible. I was and will always be a U.S. Marine and I'm also involved in helping veterans and making Arizona an increasingly veteran-friendly state. Please contact me if I can be of service to you, thank you for the honor of representing you in the Legislature, and I ask for your vote for me and Leo. Thank you!

My bill, HB2111, made Arizona a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary State! If Joe Biden tries to take away our guns, Arizona will tell him to pound sand! 2. My bill, HB2889, made Arizona the strictest in the nation for child sex crimes/human trafficking sentencing. We added mandatory sentences and life in prison for any repeat offender. 3. My bill, HB2107, made it illegal for the Government to shut down businesses during a pandemic. WalMart staying open while mom and pops being forced to close was wrong. Never again! 4. Veterans will now pay zero Arizona income tax on their pension! We also secured funding to build a 100 bed Veterans Home/Clinic in Mohave County. 5. We passed a bill requiring proof of citizenship before you can vote. I'm Pro-Veterans, Pro-Law Enforcement, Pro-Border Wall, Pro-Life, Pro-2nd Amendment, and I will always defend the Constitution! Thank You, God Bless You, and VOTE FOR LEO!

After serving my county and upholding the values of the Constitution for the majority of my adult life, I can no longer tolerate the government violating both our rights, and the rights of our children. as a proven fighter and leader, I will support the rule of law. I watched a stolen election, un-constitutional COVID lockdowns, and personal freedom of movement limited with terms such as "essential worker". This should never happen in America! Our fight to take back the county starts at the State level with the 9th and 10th Amendment. The RINOs in DC have failed the people by not supporting President Trump when we had both chambers. It is imperative we remove all RINOs from office and electing new people, not political insiders working their way through the system aspiring for higher office and name recognition. The way forward will be the voice of the people from a fighter for the people.

As an America First Constitutional Conservative my legislative actions will focus on election integrity, border security, fiscal soundness, educational decency, parent's rights and representing my constituents. My Republican experience includes being an Elected Precinct Committeeman, 4 consecutive terms as a State Committeeman, Treasurer for the Mohave County Republican Central Committee, a Trump Victory Staffer in 2020 and Interim District #2 Director (Bullhead City) for the MCRCC. Moving to Bullhead City in 2006, my wife and I opened a Sylvan Learning Center tutoring students of all ages with a staff of 20+ teachers. I also have worked for the 2011 Census, Davis House assisted living and Comfort Keepers in home care. This has given me a deep understanding of Senior needs including applying for VA Benefits. My 40 year career saw me working in all 50 states selling, managing and sitting on the Senior Staff of an Insurance Company's group insurance benefits division. I have extensive experience, both financially and contractually, in most areas of business and industry with Master's Degrees in Financial Services and Management. As a VietNam era Veteran I was a commissioned officer with the 47th Infantry Division Minnesota Army National Guard. Elect me and I promise to keep Arizona safe and secure while in the State Legislature!

Arizona has long been known as a state of conservative, common sense citizens, dedicated to basic freedoms and traditional American values. I have spent much of my life, since moving to Lake Havasu City in 2002, working to maintain our independence, decency and solid community standards. It is my intention to continue my work as your next Arizona State Representative for Legislative District 30. I bring integrity, experience and a passion for the citizens of Arizona. I have served as an elected member of the Lake Havasu City Council for eight years. During that time, I worked closely with the Mayors, other City Councils, and our State Officials to bring respect and recognition to “rural” Arizona. The concerns of Western Arizona communities are now being heard in Phoenix, when we speak with one voice and demand action for our constituents. I look forward to working with State Senator Sonny Borrelli, State Representative Leo Biasiucci and the elected leaders of Legislative District 30. o Elected to Lake Havasu City Council 2012 and 2016 o Tri-City Council Executive Board o Arizona State Medical Board 2014 - 2018 o Arizona Supreme Court Jury Task Force o Western Arizona Council of Governments:

Nohl Rosen
State Representative - District 30
Republican
Hi. I’m Nohl Rosen and I was raised in Arizona and also own a local IT business called Panther TEK. I’m also the founder of the Patriots Of Wickenburg, so I’ve been very involved in standing up for conservative values and for what our Founding Fathers had intended for this country. I’m running for the AZ House Of Representatives because I want to help make Arizona a constitutional state again. I’m a patriot, not a politician and I think our government has forgotten that it works for we the people. When elected, I plan to continue working to secure our elections (I helped draft election integrity legislation already called HB 2571). I intend to also draft legislation that gets rid of Common Core which is the main cause of Marxist teachings like CRT and comprehensive sex education. We need to go back to traditional learning in the classrooms and put God back in the schools. Another goal I have is to propose new legislation that allows citizens to constitutionally carry into all state, city and town buildings in Arizona. I also plan on working to protect our border with Mexico which can be done on the state level.
