Sally Ann Gonzales
State Senator - District 3
I am Senator Sally Ann Gonzales. It's been an honor to serve my LD3 constituents for the past 10 years. My mission has been to advocate and protect our most vulnerable citizens; our children and elders. Now more than ever will this be most crucial, as our country and state go through these uncertain times and then start the recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. I will continue to work to provide a safety-net for all our citizens impacted by Covid-19, in areas of health, employment loss and the disruption of our children’s education. Fulling funding our public schools while improving the working conditions for our dedicated teachers is a must. I am also committed to expanding vocational opportunities and upgrading our workforce by funding and supporting programs like JTED. It is essential that our three universities/community colleges be recognized, treated and funded as engines of economic development in Arizona. In closing, clean air and water are essential to the well-being of our citizenry therefore, Arizona must have strong laws to ensure the protection and improvement of our environment. To further my work on these causes, I humbly ask for your continued support on November 3, 2020.
State Representative - District 3
Hi! I’m Andres Cano, your current State Representative. I’m a 28-year-old progressive Democrat, and a first-generation college graduate who was raised by a single mom. I ran for office because I was tired of Arizona making headlines for all the wrong reasons. For example: our state is last in K-12 spending, we spend more money sending people to prison annually than on our entire university system combined, housing isn’t affordable, and our environment is more at risk than ever before. While Governor Ducey and my GOP colleagues refuse to accept responsibility for the mess we're in, I won't sit silent. I'm not done holding them accountable-- and that's why I'm running for re-election. As we recover from COVID-19, we must embrace an Arizona that lifts up working families and small businesses. With your support, I’ll continue advocating for high-paying jobs, a strong economy, increased teacher pay and classroom spending, criminal justice reform, infrastructure repairs, and expanded health care. I humbly ask for your vote to be re-elected as your State Representative. Learn more at AndresforArizona.com. My personal cell is 520-301-6162.
