The Citizens Clean Elections Commission sponsors statewide and legislative debates. Only contested races will have a debate. Additionally, debates will only occur if there is a participating Clean Elections candidate or upon the request of a traditional candidate. All debates, times and locations are subject to change.

Any person with a disability may request accommodation, such as a sign language interpreter, by contacting the Commission at (602) 364-3477. Requests should be made as early as possible to allow time to arrange accommodations.

How do I know which candidates are attending the debate?

Candidates that have been invited have their name listed next to the debate. Candidates that have confirmed their attendance are indicated with a check mark and candidates that have declined to participate are indicated with a strike through.

Can I submit a question for the candidates?

Absolutely! Clean Elections sponsors the debates so voters can hear directly from the candidates on the issues that are important to them. You can email your question to Clean Elections by clicking the button below. Just be sure to indicate what district or statewide debate your question is for!
