Voting by Mail

Did you know you can vote before Election Day? Voters can obtain and cast their ballot starting 27 days prior to every election. Learn more about receiving your ballot early, either by mail or by visiting an early voting location in person.


Voting In-Person

Election day is always held on a Tuesday and voting locations are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There are different types of voting locations, depending on the voter's county. Political Affiliation

Candidate elections held at the state and federal level are partisan. Currently, there are four political parties that are recognized statewide. Voters can register with a political party or as no party designated (independent). A voter's affiliation determines which elections they can participate in and what type of ballot they receive.
