Congressman Andy Biggs was elected to Arizona’s Fifth District in 2016. Previously, Andy served in the Arizona State House of Representatives for eight years and in the Arizona State Senate for six years. In 2012, Andy was elected as State Senate President. In his campaign for Governor, Andy is endorsed by President Trump, Charlie Kirk, and forty current or former members of the state legislature.
Andy Biggs is running for Governor to bring down costs for Arizona families and businesses by growing our economy, lowering taxes, encouraging job growth, and reducing government interference. As Governor, he will prioritize the use and expansion of reliable and affordable energy sources for every Arizonan and responsibly manage our water and land resources to ensure long-term growth and an increased supply of single-family homes. Biggs will protect the rights and freedoms of Arizonans to make their own education and health choices, supporting school choice policies and enacting the MAHA agenda at the state level.
Katie Hobbs
Governor
Democratic
https://katiehobbs.org/
Born and raised in Arizona, Katie Hobbs understands the challenges everyday Arizonans are facing. Growing up in a working-class family in Tempe, she sometimes relied on her church community and food stamps to get by. Katie worked her way through college at NAU and ASU, becoming a social worker and eventually helping to lead one of the largest domestic violence shelters in the country. Katie ran for office because career politicians were too caught up in partisan politics and weren’t solving problems. As governor, Katie has always worked to find common ground and has never stopped fighting for Arizonans.
As governor, Katie Hobbs has delivered real results by setting politics aside and putting Arizona first. Katie is fighting to bring down costs that keep rising because of Washington’s failed policies. She championed middle-class tax cuts to save 88% of Arizonans money, give seniors an additional $6,000 deduction, and eliminate taxes on tips and overtime pay. To make housing more affordable, she has repealed the tax on rent, helped first-time homebuyers with down payments, and eliminated red tape. While Washington politicians slashed healthcare, Katie cancelled $642 million in medical debt for almost half a million Arizonans and cut the cost of prescription drugs by up to 80%. She canceled leases of a Saudi Arabian corporation pumping Arizona’s groundwater and shipping crops overseas. And she has worked across the aisle to deliver over $215 million to our local law enforcement working to secure the border and stop drug and human trafficking. Her efforts have led to the seizure of 12 million fentanyl pills and nearly 5,000 pounds of meth. Katie has stood up to politicians of both parties here and in Washington, and she won’t back down until every Arizonan has the security, opportunity, and freedom they deserve.

Teri is an Arizona native, mother, and small business owner. Teri is a licensed professional counselor since 2017 and earned her PhD in 2018. Teri entered the race as Governor as a way to serve her state and people in it by saving Arizona, protecting families, and fixing corruption. "I am tired of people in my state of which I love, including myself, being harmed by the people set in place to help us." - Teri
Teri chose to run Independently due to the political climate that is dividing our state and nation. Teri believes unity is needed and despite differences people over politics needs to remain at the forefront. Teri is able to support both sides through a lens of honesty, integrity, wholesome, and remaining not prompted by politics or money to make decisions. Teri respects the politics on both sides but chooses to keep people at the forefront first. Teri does not, and will not, accept PAC or corporate donations as she believes this is part of the issue in our government today. Teri is focused on ensuring public servants throughout the government and state agencies begin to fully serve the public first, not last. Teri believes that people in Arizona are being harmed by the systems set up to help the people, and she will address and fix this immediately. Teri will ensure cost of living, water, homelessness, courts, rural communities, border control, legal immigration and other big topics are protected, covered, and firmly addressed with change that supports the constitution and the people, first. Teri is focused on people in the community, not serving first herself and government.
Risa Lombardo
Governor
Green
I was born in New York City, where I went to school and started my family. We moved to Arizona in 1991 and for 35 years this is where I raised my two daughters (both graduated from Peoria schools and ASU) and had a successful career working as a legal secretary/assistant. After being in both major parties, I registered with the Green Party because its platform best reflects my principles. I don’t have a lengthy political resume because I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who loves Arizona and wants to rise above the political games to get things done!
I’m running for Governor to be a voice for everyone being ignored by the major parties, and to champion issues that matter to every Arizonan. I’ve been registered with both major parties, although I spent most of my life as a Democrat. Each party has some elected officials who can be admired or respected in some way, but on the whole, neither party seems interested or capable of fixing the problems we face. Equal opportunity for everyone, based on our individual merit. Fair and transparent elections to ensure our voices are heard and reflected in the outcome. A responsible environmental plan to protect our air and water. And meaningful reforms on critical issues like education, homelessness, and the prison system. Other challengers don’t offer much in these regards, and four years with Katie Hobbs as Governor has produced no progress at all. We deserve better but won’t get it until we stand together in sufficient numbers that we earn the attention of the powers that be. When they realize they need us, they’ll listen to us and work with us. Join this campaign movement and let’s reward candidates who want to fix our problems, not just talk about them!
Hugh Lytle

Hugh Lytle is a problem solver, entrepreneur, healthcare innovator, and Independent candidate for Governor. His career has served those left behind or ignored by traditional programs. He founded Equality Health, which provides care to low income, largely Hispanic communities with more than 800,000 patients across five states. Hugh prioritized senior citizen care by co-founding Univita Health and Axia Health Management, where the Silver-Sneakers program reached more than 13 million members. Lytle was named the 2024 Pacific Southwest Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst and Young. He and his wife Barbara founded the Hugh & Barbara Lytle Foundation and have three adult children.
Why I’m Running: I’m running for Governor because Arizona deserves a government that actually works for its people, not one that’s constantly stuck in partisan fights. For too long, Republicans and Democrats have been more focused on scoring political points than solving real problems. The result is higher costs, growing frustration, and a sense among too many Arizonans that their voices don’t matter. I’ve spent my career building businesses, creating jobs, and solving problems by bringing people together around practical solutions. I’m not a career politician, and I’m not interested in playing the same broken game. I’m running to change how our government operates. As an Independent, I answer to no party and no political machine. I answer to the people of Arizona. That means focusing on what actually works. Lowering costs, improving our schools, strengthening our economy, and making state government more accountable and responsive. This campaign is about more than one person or one election. It’s about giving Arizonans a real choice and a new path forward. One rooted in common sense, respect, and results. If we’re willing to step outside the old divisions and work together, we can build a stronger, more united Arizona.

Scott Neely
Governor

https://neely4governor.com/
Scott Neely brings bold ideas and strong leadership to Arizona. A lifelong entrepreneur who started his first business at sixteen, he built his career from hands-on concrete work to founding Action Concrete Pumping and Action Concrete Pumping Supply in Arizona. He has contributed to major state projects-including the Arizona-Mexico border wall and infrastructure across the Valley-and founded the National Shotcrete Association to train future operators.
Scott Neely is the voice that Arizona has been waiting for - the voice that refuses to be ignored, pushed aside, or talked over. He speaks with the fire and conviction of someone who knows exactly what everyday Arizonans are going through, because he’s lived it too. While career politicians argue, Scott stands up and says what the people have been shouting for years: Enough. It’s time for real leadership. Scott is a true conservative with the backbone to fight for what matters. He doesn’t just list Arizona’s problems; he confronts them head-on with bold, clear solutions rooted in common sense and real-world experience. But what sets Neely apart is this: he isn’t just speaking to the people - he’s speaking for them. His message breaks past party lines and resonates with Republicans, Independents, and Democrats who feel unheard, overlooked, and tired of politicians who don’t deliver. Scott Neely is the people’s voice. The voice of the fed up. The voice of the forgotten. The voice ready to fight for a stronger, safer, freer Arizona. And he’s just getting started.

In Congress, David serves as chairman of the Joint Economic Committee while also serving on the House Ways and Means Committee. He’s been recognized by leading conservative organizations as one of the most conservative members of Congress. David and his wife Joyce are the proud parents of Olivia and Matthew. They live in Fountain Hills and attend St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church.
Friends, As the father of two young children, I’m usually up early. I like to watch the Arizona sun rise over our deserts and mountains and greet the new day. But as I look out across our great state, I ask myself: What is Arizona becoming? Do we drift down a path that mirrors the struggles of California, losing what makes us unique? Or do return to the principles that built this state we call home? Principles of strength, freedom, and opportunity that have always defined Arizona’s soul. I’m running for Governor to shake things up. To bring bold, unapologetic conservative leadership to state government just like I’ve done in Congress. In Congress, I helped write President Trump’s tax cuts, voted for the largest spending reduction in American history, and fought for the toughest border security laws out there. In the months ahead, I want to hear from you. Together, we’ll talk about our vision for Arizona-a place where every family can thrive, every worker can prosper, and every child can dream big. This is our Arizona. Let’s make it the best place to live, work, and raise a family. Let’s make it home again.
Duwayne Collier
Secretary of State
Green
I’m Dwayne Collier, a 46-year-old born in a small farming town in California. I’ve worked in construction, labor, sales, and service, where I developed a strong ability to connect with people. After traveling across the country, my wife and I settled in Arizona, where we’re raising our two children. We fell in love with the community and way of life here. I’m proud to call Arizona home and am committed to helping make it an even better place to live. I respectfully ask for your support and your vote.
My name is Duwayne Collier, and I am an advocate for the citizens of Arizona. I believe in strong borders and legal immigration. We must expand lawful pathways to bring people to America, helping grow our population and strengthen our economy-especially in Arizona, where farming and construction depend on a reliable workforce. While we should encourage Arizonans to fill these roles, legal immigration plays an essential part. I support renewable energy, particularly fusion technology, which offers safe, clean power and represents the future of energy in America. Protecting Arizona’s water supply is critical. I will prioritize securing our fair share of Colorado River water to ensure the state’s long-term sustainability. I am committed to clean air and water and will hold corporations accountable when they violate public trust. As the Grand Canyon State, we must protect our natural environment for future generations. I will work to bring manufacturing and high-paying jobs to Arizona while supporting a balanced economy that includes agriculture, construction, service industries, defense, and investment. I am a devoted family man, active in ministry, and committed to serving my community. I respectfully ask for your support and your vote.
Adrian Fontes
Secretary of State

In 2022, Adrian Fontes was elected Arizona’s 21st Secretary of State. A proud Arizona native, Marine Corps veteran, husband, and father, he has dedicated his life to justice and defending democracy. After serving on active duty from 1992–1996, he pursued law, advocating for the disadvantaged as a prosecutor in Denver and Maricopa County, and leading the International Prosecution Unit at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. As Maricopa County Recorder, he modernized elections, expanded access, and improved transparency. Since January 2023, Secretary Fontes has strengthened election integrity, promoted voter access, and ensured Arizona’s business community has a trusted, nonpartisan partner.
As Secretary of State, I’ve delivered on key promises to strengthen election integrity, ensure voter access, improve business services, and promote transparency. In everything I do, my goal is to protect your vote. These efforts include launching a statewide ballot tracking system that allows voters to receive text and email updates when their ballots are sent and received. I have fought to protect your private data and vote-by-mail because nobody should have to stand in long lines in the heat to cast their vote. Ahead of the 2024 election, I hosted statewide tabletop exercises with election officials, law enforcement, and cybersecurity experts to prepare for potential threats, including emerging challenges like deepfakes and content authentication. To combat misinformation, I established the Artificial Intelligence and Election Security Advisory Committee, bringing together leaders from academia, business, and technology to assess risks and identify opportunities. In 2025, I received a Clearie Award from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission for the third consecutive year, honoring innovation and excellence in election administration. Importantly, I successfully oversaw the peaceful administration and certification of the 2024 election, reinforcing trust in Arizona’s democratic process. I would be honored to earn your vote. Thank you.

For more than a decade, Alex Kolodin has fought for transparency, accountability, and the rule of law in the courtroom and at the Capitol. In the Legislature, he sponsored bipartisan election reforms that strengthened early-voter verification, protected military ballots, improved chain of custody, and helped speed up results. Alex is an experienced election attorney, Arizona State Representative, and small business owner running for Secretary of State to restore transparency to our elections. He’s a graduate of Georgetown University, the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and a former Goldwater Institute Reagan Fellow. Alex lives in Scottsdale with his wife and two children.
As Secretary of State, my sole focus will be on serving all voters, regardless of political affiliation, and administering elections that are secure, transparent, honest, and follow the law, while delivering fast results that all Arizonans can have confidence in on election night. I’ve been fighting for Arizonans’ civil liberties, including the right to free and fair elections, for well over a decade. As an experienced election attorney, I’ve successfully challenged my opponent Adrian Fontes’ numerous and repeated violations of the law in court. As a member of the Arizona House of Representatives, I’ve been the state’s most successful election policy-focused legislator - achieving broad bipartisan support for some of the most important election laws in state history. I’ve fought to protect the voting rights of military members, veterans, the disabled, rural voters, and voters from every Party, income level, race, gender and age. The reality is that the process of administering elections shouldn’t be about right vs. left or rich vs. poor. Election administration is about following the law, running world class elections, and delivering fast results that voters can trust. I’m Alex Kolodin and I’m humbly asking for your vote to be Arizona’s next Secretary of State.

She is a Senior Fellow with Honest Elections Project and has served as Senior Policy Advisor on Elections at the AZ Legislature. Gina was AZGOP Chair in 2024, winning races up and down the ballot, and as Chairman of the RNC Committee on Election Integrity ensured victories in swing states through crucial litigation. She graduated with her BA magna cum laude from ASU and has been married to the love of her life for 32 years and has two children, two dogs, and a tortoise.
I am running for AZ Secretary of State to secure our elections, restore customer service across all divisions, improve response times and upgrade our software and security. The SOS covers many divisions, and the greatest concern is the Elections Division. I have served in every role in that division, and I know what it takes to execute under enormous pressure under conflicting statutory deadlines. There is a series of legislative actions that can help secure our systems. I will submit drafts to our AZ Leg Leadership to secure our elections immediately. Among these, routine post-election audits, an expansion of how we conduct Logic & Accuracy testing to include peripheral equipment, providing mandatory, public reporting to the Legislature on changes in the statewide voter registration database and conducting ongoing audits of every one of these procedures. Paramount among the responsibilities of the AZ SOS is the Elections Procedures Manual. That joint, stakeholder driven process will begin the day I walk back into that office. Business Services is a hugely important part of AZ SOS. We need to provide tools for faster response times to speed up the flow of economic growth across our state. It would be an honor to serve.
Rodney Glassman
Attorney General
Republican
https://www.rodneyglassman.com/
Rodney Glassman is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps Reserve, experienced prosecutor, and practicing litigation attorney of nearly two decades. He is married to his law school sweetheart and the proud father of two daughters. Rodney is running for Attorney General to protect Arizona’s law enforcement, children, and prosperity while working with President Trump to secure the southern border. On day one, Rodney will withdraw Arizona from Kris Mayes’s click-bait lawsuits and rescind her political indictments. Rodney’s campaign is chaired by Maricopa County Sheriff Jerry Sheridan, Arizona Superintendent Tom Horne, and former Senate President Karen Fann.
Rodney is a Trump conservative and the only candidate running with experience as a practicing attorney. As a Lieutenant Colonel, when Rodney puts on his uniform to serve at Luke Air Force Base, he leads the active-duty legal office of JAGs, paralegals, and support staff providing all the legal services for the one-star general and base squadrons commanders. He has prosecuted drug dealers and financial crimes while protecting victims of sexual assault. Rodney is also a successful litigator who has fed his family for nearly two decades as a private sector attorney. Experience matters because the Arizona Attorney General runs the largest law office in the state, with over 400 attorneys and 1,000 support staff, providing all legal services for every state agency. Protecting law enforcement means standing with law enforcement, every time. Protecting children means safeguarding school choice, keeping biological boys out of girls’ sports, combating fentanyl and human trafficking, and advocating for parents and families. Protecting prosperity means enforcing Arizona’s election laws, defending small businesses from overregulation, rooting out fraud, and ensuring Arizona’s consumers and seniors are protected. As Arizona’s next Attorney General, Rodney will focus the Attorney General’s office on what matters most: protecting Arizona and Arizonans.
Kris Mayes
Attorney General
Democratic
https://www.krismayes.com/
Kris Mayes is a single mom and Arizona native from Prescott who was raised by a public-school teacher and a neighborhood pharmacist. Mayes began her career as a journalist focused on holding the powerful accountable. She served a senior role in Governor Napolitano’s administration and later was elected to the Arizona Corporation Commission where she helped create thousands of good-paying jobs and saved consumers billions. In 2022, after winning the narrowest statewide race in Arizona history (280 votes), Kris Mayes revamped the Attorney General’s office to fight for lower costs, protect Arizona families, and defend our personal rights and freedoms.
I am running for reelection as Arizona’s Attorney General and your ‘Lawyer for the People.’ As Attorney General, I have fought like hell for Arizonans – lowering prices, blocking mega-mergers, addressing rising rent, stopping the flow of deadly fentanyl and protecting working families. I sued the Saudis for over pumping Arizona’s groundwater and opposed unfair electricity rate hikes by Arizona’s monopoly utilities. Working with federal partners, sheriffs, and police chiefs, I have seized more than 27 million fentanyl pills off of our streets– the most of any Attorney General in Arizona history. My office has prioritized shutting down scams, prosecuting fraud, and going after those who put Arizona seniors in danger. I blocked the federal government’s tariffs at the Supreme Court and have protected more than $1.5 billion for Arizonans with our federal lawsuits. I will continue to fight for Arizonans’ personal freedoms; securing reproductive healthcare, standing up to federal overreach, and safeguarding Arizona’s environmental future. I have heard from people all across the state at my town halls how I can fight for them. It is critical to reelect me as your Attorney General, so I can keep protecting Arizona families and making life more affordable in Arizona.
Warren Petersen
Attorney General

Warren Petersen, a third-generation Gilbert resident and Gilbert High graduate, earned his bachelor’s and J.D. from ASU. He has served in the Arizona Legislature since 2012, holding key leadership roles including House Majority Leader, Rules Chair, Judiciary Chair, Ethics Committee member, and current Senate President. A lifelong advocate for limited government, low taxes, free markets, and individual rights, Petersen has championed fiscally conservative policies, religious freedom, Second Amendment protections, and crime victims’ rights. He led efforts to defend state laws, including keeping men out of women’s sports and opposing unconstitutional mandates. Honored with the Silver Beaver Award for youth service and multiple recognitions for protecting freedoms, Petersen is a proven conservative leader.
I will restore the Attorney General’s office to its core mission: fighting crime, rooting out corruption, securing our elections, and defending our Constitution. Under Kris Mayes it has drifted into partisan and woke politics. With over a decade of broad legal experience, I have served as Judiciary/Rules Chairman and now Senate President-giving me unmatched constitutional expertise among the candidates. When Mayes failed to uphold the law, I stepped up to defend it. I have managed over 110 cases or amicus briefs, including high-profile matters like the Save Women’s Sports Act that reached the U.S. Supreme Court (Doe v. Warren Petersen). My primary opponent has switched parties three times. I am the only lifelong Republican in the primary who has won an election. Already leading a major branch of government, my proven blend of legal acumen and leadership prepares me to run the office effectively from day one. I am the only candidate endorsed by conservative Attorneys General, County Attorneys, Sheriffs, law enforcement leaders, and our next governor, Trump endorsed Andy Biggs. They recognize my strong conservative record on policy, leadership, and legal experience. I respectfully ask for your vote. Visit petersenforag.com to view all endorsements.

As an Arizona native, I am committed to the values that built our state: personal responsibility, limited government, and respect for the taxpayers who make it all possible. I am running for State Treasurer to protect your tax dollars and grow them responsibly. This is not a role for those who take big bets or unnecessary risks-it requires discipline, sound judgment, and a clear understanding that every dollar managed by the state belongs to the people of Arizona, not the government. As your Treasurer, I will be a vigilant steward of public funds. I will insist on transparency, eliminate waste, and uphold the fiscal discipline that keeps Arizona strong. Responsible financial management is essential to keeping taxes low and protecting the freedom of Arizona families. That same commitment extends to education. I will stand up for parents and defend education freedom, ensuring families have the flexibility and resources to choose what’s best for their children through Empowerment Scholarships and 529 accounts. Raised by a nurse and a doctor, he learned the value of hard work, service, and education. He attended Salpointe Catholic High School and later earned degrees in Industrial Engineering and an MBA. Nick and his wife, Annemarie, live in Phoenix with four adult children.
For Nick Mansour, the State Treasurer’s office is not a political stepping stone for higher office. It is the place to make Arizona the best place to live, work, and raise a family. That work starts with restoring fiscal accountability and transparency to the Treasurer’s Office, along with investing in education so Arizonans are ready for today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities. Nick’s career has been dedicated to leading companies that help others better themselves, whether through earning a nursing degree, working in emergency services, or pursuing other opportunities. He defines success by how much he helps others succeed. Nick knows that Arizona’s money is OUR money. He is running for State Treasurer to watch over taxpayer dollars, eliminate waste, invest responsibly, and return money to hardworking Arizonans where it belongs. He will ensure the state’s finances are run like those of the successful businesses he has led, so cities, towns, school districts, and counties have the resources they need. He understands the Treasurer’s main job is investing and managing tax dollars wisely. Recent waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer dollars are unacceptable to Nick. In his view, even one dollar of waste is too much.

As a self-made businessman, I built a successful company from the ground up and understand how to manage capital, evaluate risk, and deliver strong returns-skills essential to protecting taxpayer dollars. I believe the Treasurer’s primary responsibility is to safeguard and grow Arizona’s investments. I am committed to investing taxpayer dollars safely and responsibly while maximizing returns, ensuring our state’s financial future remains secure. My approach prioritizes performance over politics-rejecting ESG and politically driven investment strategies that put ideology ahead of results. I will also increase transparency and accountability in how public funds are managed. I will work to identify inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and ensure every taxpayer dollar is protected and working effectively for the citizens of Arizona. I am running to bring private-sector discipline to public finance, deliver strong and stable returns, and ensure Arizona remains financially secure for generations to come.

I’ve worked directly with families and schools, so I understand the real challenges we face across Arizona. I’m also a proud Arizona public school dad, and this work is personal to me. Every child, in every zip code, deserves access to a high-quality education and the opportunity to thrive. That’s why I am committed to fully funding public education, increasing teacher pay, and retaining and developing the incredible educators who make a difference every day. I lead with empathy, values, and cultural responsiveness. I believe in bringing people together to solve problems, not dividing them. My focus is on practical, student-centered solutions that create lasting impact. I’m ready to serve Arizona with integrity, accountability, and heart-so together, we can build stronger schools and brighter futures for every student.

Brian Matlock
State Mine Inspector
Democratic
https://www.matlockforazmi.com/
Brian is a Mechanical Engineer and Marine Reserves Veteran. Professionally, Brian has decades of heavy-industry experience including forestry, pulp and paper, foundry, and mining. Brian is named as an inventor on six US patents, some directly related to mining safety. He has worked at industrial sites on every continent except Antarctica. His experience includes design, field service, marketing, and management with supervisory duties. Brian enjoys time with his family, mountain biking, building and maintaining trails as a community volunteer, designing ways to conserve water, and, an extension of his lifelong love for engineering and mechanics, tinkering on his budget racecar.
Arizona was built on mining, and the men and women who power that industry deserve leadership that implements world-class health and safety mining practices. I’m Brian Matlock, and I’m running for State Mine Inspector because the job is about one thing, protecting lives while supporting world-class mining that keeps our economy thriving and robust. I’ve built my career solving problems. I’ve seen what works and what fails. As Mine Inspector, I plan to: • Put real-world safety first by enforcing practical standards that protect miners every day. Not politics. Not bureaucracy. Just results keeping people safe. • Bring a professional, boots-on-the-ground approach to the office focused on expertise, accountability, and transparency. This is not a political position. It’s a public safety job. • Ensure the inspection gap is filled as Federal oversight wanes. • Work with local experts and federal agencies to secure abandoned uranium mines in the Sovereign Lands. Secure backcountry abandoned mines that threaten families, hikers, and rural communities. Arizona’s mining industry is vital, but nothing is more important than the people who power it. The State Mine Inspector must be visible, responsive, and accountable to both workers and the public. I’m ready to get to work.
Walter "Les" Presmyk
State Mine Inspector
Republican
https://lespresmyk.com
Les Presmyk is a lifelong Arizonan and mining engineer with 44+ years of experience in Arizona’s mines. He has worked in operational and management positions in both underground and open-pit mines and understands mine safety, planning, and operations from the ground up. Appointed Arizona State Mine Inspector in 2025 by Governor Katie Hobbs from a group of seven Republican applicants, he now oversees mine inspections, safety training, and reclamation to help ensure every miner returns home safely each day. Les is a former member of the Gilbert Town Council and brings decades of civic and volunteer leadership to this role.
I spent my entire 45-year career in Arizona’s mining industry, starting by exploring old underground mines in high school and going on to work in large underground and open-pit copper mines, Arizona’s largest coal mine, and my own small mining operation. Appointed by Governor Katie Hobbs from a group of seven Republican applicants, I now serve as your Arizona State Mine Inspector. My top priority is ensuring that mines are safe, so every miner, contractor, and supplier returns home safely at the end of each workday. I also oversee mine inspections, safety training, the securing abandoned mines and final mine reclamation statewide. Beyond my professional work, I served on the Gilbert Town Council for 12 years and have devoted years to serving on boards and commissions in Gilbert and the Southeast Valley, with a special focus on supporting veterans and their families. I have spent countless hours supporting the two University of Arizona mining/mineral/gem museums in Phoenix and Tucson. Safety is not a partisan issue, and I am committed to safeguarding both Arizona’s miners and our mining industry. I am the only candidate with this depth of experience. I respectfully ask for your vote so I can continue this work.
Ralph Heap
Corporation Commissioner
Republican
Dr. Ralph Heap is a fourth-generation Arizonan, a respected orthopedic surgeon, and a lifelong servant-leader who has spent his career caring for others - both in the operating room and in his community. Dr. Heap’s dedication to service extended far beyond Arizona. As a medical missionary in Africa, he has traveled to 23 countries - providing life-changing pediatric orthopedic care and supporting faith-based healthcare initiatives around the globe. He and his wife Denise - his high school sweetheart - have built a life rooted in faith, family, and freedom, raising three children and eight grandchildren in the state they love.
Ralph Heap was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives, where he has been a strong voice for limited government, free markets, medical freedom, and parental rights. Now, as a candidate for the Arizona Corporation Commission, Dr. Heap is ready to stand up for ratepayers, defend rural communities, and block the encroachment of globalist energy agendas. As Corporation Commissioner, Dr. Heap will: • Fight against ESG mandates and California-style energy experiments • Oppose unnecessary utility rate increases that punish families and seniors • Ensure a reliable, diverse energy grid - not one dictated by ideology • Fully Support the Trump Energy Agenda, with emphasis on fossil fuels and Nuclear energy. • • Protect water access and infrastructure, especially in rural Arizona • Demand transparency and stand against special interest influence at the Commission With decades of real-world experience, a commitment to constitutional principles, and a heart for service, Dr. Ralph Heap is the steady, conservative leader Arizona needs at the Corporation Commission.
Jonathon Hill
Corporation Commissioner
Democratic
https://www.votehillaz.com/
Jonathon brings a unique perspective to the Commission as a scientist, engineer, and proud, lifelong Arizonan who was born in Kingman. He has spent 18 years at Arizona State University working on NASA missions to Mars, Jupiter, and asteroids, earning degrees in Aerospace Engineering and a doctorate in Geological Sciences. His expertise gives him a deep understanding of energy, infrastructure, and groundwater challenges, especially in rural areas. Jonathon is committed to asking tough, technical questions and using his background to protect hardworking Arizonans from rising costs while ensuring reliable, sustainable energy and water systems statewide.
I’m running for the Arizona Corporation Commission because too many Arizonans are paying more every month and seemingly getting less in return. As a scientist who has spent my career working on complex systems and solving real-world problems, I believe we need leadership that is grounded in facts, transparency, and accountability. The Commission has enormous influence over our utility bills, our energy reliability, and our long-term economic competitiveness, yet too often it has failed to ask tough questions or fully represent ratepayers. I’m not running as a career politician; I’m running as someone who believes government should work for people, not special interests. We can lower costs, strengthen our grid, and invest in cleaner, more efficient energy that protects our water and air while supporting business growth. Arizona deserves leadership that is practical, forward-thinking, and focused on results. That’s what I will bring to the Commission.
Nicholas "Nick" Myers
Corporation Commissioner
Republican
https://nickmyers.us
Myers is the incumbent Chairman of the ACC. He brings a background in software engineering, entrepreneurship, and advocacy following a dispute with a utility. He is spearheading natural gas and nuclear in Arizona, prioritizing the elimination of subsidies, mitigating wildfires, and containing data center costs so residents don't foot the bill. He is the Chairman of the Markets+ State Committee, a western day-ahead energy market going live in 2027, and serves as a member of the Gas and Critical Infrastructure Committees at NARUC and is one of only 10 members nationwide to serve on the Federal/State Current Issues Collaborative with FERC and NARUC.
Nick Myers has delivered measurable results for Arizona ratepayers by focusing on affordability, reliability, and accountability at the Corporation Commission. He has led efforts to remove costly mandates that drove up utility bills by $3 billion, while advancing policies that ensure new growth, especially large energy users like data centers, pays for itself rather than shifting costs onto Arizona families. Myers has been a voice for consumers by cutting over $1 billion (and climbing) from current utility rates. Myers has been a leading voice in strengthening grid reliability and supporting pragmatic energy, water, and gas solutions that keep utilities affordable and available as Arizona continues to grow. His work has helped position Arizona as a stable, investment-friendly state for critical infrastructure and development. He has also taken a firm stance on transparency and regulatory reform, working to improve how decisions are communicated and ensuring the public has a clearer understanding of how rates are set and why. He spearheaded efforts that led to commissioners' votes being made public and easily researched online. Known for his independent approach, Myers focuses on practical solutions over politics, prioritizing dependable service, responsible oversight, and long-term cost savings for Arizona consumers.
Clara Pratte
Corporation Commissioner
Democratic
https://www.claraforaz.com/
Clara Pratte has dedicated her life to public service, entrepreneurship, and advocating for underserved communities. A member of the Navajo Nation, she grew up in Lupton, Arizona, without electricity or running water until middle school, shaping her commitment to reliable, clean energy. She served under three U.S. Presidents and four Navajo Nation Presidents, holding senior roles advancing economic and tribal policy. Now a small business owner and co-founder of Navajo Power, she promotes solar development. Clara is running for Arizona’s Corporation Commission to lower costs, protect consumers, and expand sustainable energy opportunities statewide for all Arizona families.
I’m running for the Arizona Corporation Commission because I’ve lived the consequences of decisions made in this office. Growing up on the Navajo Nation without electricity or running water, I understand how essential reliable and affordable utilities are to everyday life. Today, too many Arizona families, ranging from rural communities to our cities, are struggling with rising costs and uncertainty about the future. I’ve spent my career working in energy, economic development, and now as a small business owner, helping bring infrastructure and opportunity to communities that have been overlooked. Communities just like my hometown. It's why I believe the Commission should be a watchdog for the people by ensuring fair rates, reliable service, and encouraging smart investments that strengthen our economy while protecting our air and water. We can expand clean, cost-effective energy, create good-paying jobs, and protect our natural resources while keeping Arizona competitive. We just need the political courage to do so. I’m running to restore trust, bring real-world experience to the Commission, and make sure it works for every Arizonan.
Kevin Thompson
Corporation Commissioner

I’ve served as a Commissioner since 2024 and was previously selected by my peers as Chair. I have over 30 years of professional public service, including serving as a combat veteran during Operation Desert Storm for the US Air Force and a twice-elected Mesa Councilmember. I’m a co-founder of the Mesa Veterans Resource Center, was awarded the Mesa Veteran Appreciation Award, and was recognized as the 2025 Champion of the Year by the Arizona Manufacturers Council. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and have been married to my wife, Donna, for 37 years. They have two adult children.
One office that shouldn’t be political is the regulators who oversee utilities and our grid. My focus is protecting ratepayers and grid stability. I’ve championed an all-of-the above energy approach to manage Arizona’s energy grid, focusing on eliminating Green New Deal policies that have cost customers billions of dollars in extra surcharges, while pushing for greater ratepayer protections and holding utilities accountable for wasteful and frivolous spending. I championed the elimination of previously enacted Commission mandates that forced utilities to fund energy projects and programs costing ratepayers nearly $4Billion since their inception. I led the charge in eliminating over $50Million in ratepayer surcharges from the state’s largest electric utility in incentives for things like electric golf carts, EV charging stations, and payments to homebuilders to install appliances. I’ve worked tirelessly to remove regulatory barriers and mandates to unleash energy innovation, while ensuring grid stability and maintaining reliable energy supply. Under my watch, Arizona’s grid is now ranked the 7th most reliable in the country. I recently led the charge to prevent ratepayers from being saddled with $1.9Billion in extra costs to open a shuttered power plant and have worked on federal permitting reform for natural gas and nuclear power.
