Complaint is Filed and Processed
Complaints must contain the full name and address of the complainant, as well as a clear and concise recitation of the facts that describe a violation of statue or rule over which the Commission has jurisdiction. The complaint must be written, sworn to, signed in presence of a notary public and notarized.
The investigation may include audits, examinations, subpoenas and written questions under order.
The probable cause order and penalty assessment are an appealable agency action.
