Pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.02, notice is hereby given to the Commissioners of the Citizens Clean Elections Commission and the general public that the Citizens Clean Elections Commission will hold a regular meeting, open to the public on Thursday, May 31, 2001. This meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m., at the Citizens Clean Elections Commission Offices, 4001 North 3^rd Street, Suite 200 Phoenix, Arizona.

The Commission may vote to go into executive session, which will not be open to the public, for the purpose of discussing personnel matters (A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(2)), and consultation with Commission attorneys, regarding pending litigation (A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(4)), and/or obtaining legal advice for any item on the agenda (A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3)).

All matters on the agenda may be discussed, considered and are subject to action by the Commission.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

3. Consideration and Approval of the Office of the Attorney General's Involvement in 2002 Election Matters. Presented by Terri Skladany, Special Counsel for Ethics, Professionalism and Training.

5. Consideration and Approval of the following Voter Education Matters:
   1. Debate RFP
   2. Debate Sponsor Selection Committee
   3. Public Relations Campaign
   4. Dissemination of Candidate Statements

6. Legal Report (Oral Report from Assistant Attorney General Todd Lang).
    
   
7. Call for Public Comment.

   This is the time for consideration and discussion of comments and complaints from the public. Those wishing to address the Commission shall request permission in advance by filling out a speaker slip. Action taken as a result of public comment will be limited to directing staff to study the matter or rescheduling the matter for further consideration and decision at a later date.
