Redistricting & Legislative Candidate Funding

On April 26, 2012 the U.S. Department of Justice precleared the 2012 legislative district map. The  Arizona Secretary of State’s office is currently working to determine the number of signatures necessary to qualify. Until the final determination on signature requirements is made, the Secretary cannot process petitions, and, as a result legislative candidates cannot at this time receive Clean Elections funding.
